Bert Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 He's moaning that Arshavin can't play in the champions league, because he'd already played for Zenit in it. But because they're now out, he believes that Arshavin should be allowed to play. I'm sure he'd think different if this was the case for another club. He's a massive twat.
Corky Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 But the same rule applies for domestic competitions here. He's losing it.

Matt Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 He also thinks doing well in the Champions League will put their season back on track, abit late now ain't it?!
dandannieldanok Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 He also thinks doing well in the Champions League will put their season back on track, abit late now ain't it?! Yes in regards to the premier league, but if they win it'll be a massive confidence boost. Arsenal may have been very poor in the premier league, but there still in the latter stages of this competition and the FA cup and if they were to win one of them, then it would certainly save the season.
Uncle Albert Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 I think Arsenal may get to the final and possibly win the Champions League this year, they are that inconsistent that they may actually do it, out of the 4 English teams Arsenal are the last team I would want to win it.

They won't. You can't really say they are poor or on the slippery slope, but I honestly believe the gap between them and Man Utd, Chelsea (and maybe include Liverpool in that ) has widened over the last few years and possibly, hopefully Villa are taking their place.
Uncle Albert Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Hopefully Villa are taking their place. Let's not go that far.
Matt Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Let's not go that far. I've never really liked Villa but in the last few months there is a little something that I don't mind so much about them anymore and atleast they are English.
BoneDog Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 I used to hate Villa with a passion, but since O'Neill took over I have no hate for them. When O'Neill leaves though it will more than likely come back. Arsenal better realise it's the UEFA cup next season.

Might be English but they are shit! Will give English teams a badname in the Champs League.

Theres only one Arsene Wenger Theres only one Arsene Wenger With his packet of sweets and his cheeky smile wenger is a fcuking p do file (spelt as such!!!!) Im sure he is on a wind up mission!! I actually think he's brill...especially when he never sees his teams most blatant fouls!!! Gotta be on a wind up mission!!!
Koke Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 To be fair he also said that they knew the rules before they bought Arshavin so they had no leg to stand on if they complained.
DB11 Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 I used to hate Villa with a passion, but since O'Neill took over I have no hate for them. When O'Neill leaves though it will more than likely come back. Ditto. Dunno why though
dandannieldanok Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Might be English but they are shit! Will give English teams a badname in the Champs League. True, they're likely to embarrass themselves in the UEFA cup on Thursday with the squad O'Neill has chosen ever mind how they'd fare in the champions league.
Bert Posted 24 February 2009 Author Posted 24 February 2009 Wenger being a tosspot, hardly news Soz. How come Fenerbache aint playing tonight or tomorrow in this comp?
lildave3 Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Soz. How come Fenerbache aint playing tonight or tomorrow in this comp? It wasn't a dig, just couldn't put it in any other words Because they were shit.
Bert Posted 24 February 2009 Author Posted 24 February 2009 It wasn't a dig, just couldn't put it in any other words Because they were shit. Galatasaray are way better.
lildave3 Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Galatasaray are way better. Lost 5-2 at home to a team 2nd bottom in the league, ok
Joe. Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Chance of Arsenal winning the Champions League this year? It goes into minus figures it's so remote.
Bert Posted 24 February 2009 Author Posted 24 February 2009 Lost 5-2 at home to a team 2nd bottom in the league, ok Haha, Doh, shows how much attention I pay to Mickey Mouse leagues.
Flynny Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 This thread is ridiculous. He mentioned literally in passing how it seemed a little bit silly but thems the rules, he wasn't even complaining.
