Kilworthfox Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 From Bentleys Roofhttp://fansonline.net/leicestercity/mb/view.php?id=105492 Can only be because of money IMO, he is on a wedge! He is by no means our worst centre back.
lildave3 Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Can't decide whether i'm bothered or not. Good defender, but I think if we can get Hobbs either permanently or on loan again next year then it's no loss.
Aeropars Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I dont think theres any way Hobbs would be allowed to leave Liverpool permanently
Shrenchel Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Can't decide whether i'm bothered or not. Good defender, but I think if we can get Hobbs either permanently or on loan again next year then it's no loss. I would think Pearson has this in mind or I doubt hed make the decision about kis at this stage. Or maybe he would. Anyway, bye mate! I was a fan.
MPH Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 it happens. Good player but can we say we have missed him this year? we are well covered in CB. quality but i think it gives Pearson room to move in other departments....
CosbehFox Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I'll say again City do not want to take the risk on his knee as we have done time and time before (other players like), only see them on our wage bill for exceptionally long times with injuries. .
Flynny Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Sooner have him than what I've seen of Brown I'd have to say the same. Brown looked to me essentially the same player but even hoofier if that's possible.
davieG Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I'd have to say the same. Brown looked to me essentially the same player but even hoofier if that's possible. Significantly slower.
Flynny Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Significantly slower. And that. And he fell over every time he had to use his feet.
Scow Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I'll say again City do not want to take the risk on his knee as we have done time and time before (other players like), only see them on our wage bill for exceptionally long times with injuries. . Yep, spot on. Kisnorbo is one of the highest wage earners and he's had three major injuries since we signed him. I think some views of him has been tainted by relegation and the part he had to play in our 'dodgy' patch earlier in the season. Yes, he had problems with his distribution, but he did all other parts of his job well and also provided a significant threat from set pieces.
Jimmy Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 we have Tunch to come back at the start of next season, Morrison and I'm certain Pearson will have a couple of solid CB's on his radar already if he has already to Kisnorbo he won't be getting a new deal, he's basically been out all season and we haven't missed him, was the best of a bad bunch of CB's (him, McAuley and McCarthy) nothing more
Bert Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 He's better than Morrison. Let's put it thatta way. A bit disappointed that he'll be going, because he played with his heart on his sleeve, gave 110% whilst in every game he played. (Even when in midfield) The biggest thing he respects about this club, is our fans.
Guest Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Disappointing but completely understandable. If we can take Hobbs on loan for another year, and have Tunch/Hobbs/Morrison competeing for the two centre back slots I think we'll be okay. As has been said, wouldn't be surprised if Nige had his eye on somebody to bring in to replace him next season already anyway. Seeya Kis
Joe. Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I think it was inevitable really. On one hand I'm not really that bothered if we can get Hobbs, but I did like him when we were in the Championship. He was one of our best players for quite a while, good luck to him I say.
Mr Happy Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Can't decide whether i'm bothered or not. Good defender, but I think if we can get Hobbs either permanently or on loan again next year then it's no loss. Agreed.
Nick Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I dont think theres any way Hobbs would be allowed to leave Liverpool permanently The Liverpool fans I know say he's not got anywhere near the required pace for the prem never mind the 'pool I dont think theres any way Hobbs would be allowed to leave Liverpool permanently The Liverpool fans I know say he's not got anywhere near the required pace for the prem never mind the 'pool.....

welck12 Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 The Liverpool fans I know say he's not got anywhere near the required pace for the prem never mind the 'pool How many of these fans would have ever seen him play, as i dont think he's played much in there first team (i could be wrong though) bar odd game in league cup? Dont know many liverpool fans who follow the reserves/youngsters too closely
Shrenchel Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 How many of these fans would have ever seen him play, as i dont think he's played much in there first team (i could be wrong though) bar odd game in league cup? Dont know many liverpool fans who follow the reserves/youngsters too closely Not all Liverpool fans are ****** from Leicester that support them because they won the Champions League. I'm sure Liverpool have MANY more fans that follow the reserves/youngsters than Leicester do.
Stevosevic Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Good luck to him, has been a good servant to us and will should recieve a good reception when he returns one day. One of few players i have actually liked in the past few years.
dandannieldanok Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Sooner have him than what I've seen of Brown I have never seen Brown play for us but from what people are saying about him, I'm inclined to agree with you. I think it is probably time to move on from Kisnorbo, but I'll always respect him, 100% effort and commitment every game and was part of a very solid defence for two years in the championship.
