Nationwider Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Did anyone see it tonight? I've always been a big fan of his. I just love his smugness and unbridled contempt for shittyness. Glad to see he's back on proper telly again...
Nationwider Posted 16 March 2009 Author Posted 16 March 2009 Gutted I missed it. iPlayer link in first post.
shen Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Ah crap. Sorry shen. No worries. I'll scour the 'Tube for it these coming days *crossing my fingers* British stand-up/comedy far surpasses what we have over here...
Shrenchel Posted 17 March 2009 Posted 17 March 2009 UK only A pissed up jock told me a website through which you could watch iplayer online the other nite. I wrote it in my phone but then got smashed myself and lost said phone. Im still searching. Not heard about it??
Shrenchel Posted 17 March 2009 Posted 17 March 2009 But yeah Stewart Lee is fooking cracking. I watched all his DVDs fook knows how many times. Not sure everyone gets it though. I show them to some people and they look at me like I've just taken a shit on their kids.

Yeah seen that, but they want you to pay for the pdf that apparently tells you how do it. Seen a couple people on another website saying it's a con though and doesn't work.

stez Posted 17 March 2009 Posted 17 March 2009 I was thinking of wearing some rouge as part of my Crewe fairy outfit - where might I find these traders? some unscrupulous-type has edited my post to make me look silly, i obviously meant road traders doh!
Lillehamring Posted 17 March 2009 Posted 17 March 2009 i'll have to wait for a decade before it's shown on BBC entertainment, or whatever they call it these days... i used to love TMWRNJ, the funniest thing on sunday mornings - ever!
Flynny Posted 17 March 2009 Posted 17 March 2009 Stewart Lee is an idol of mine, I'm gonna go watch it now. What a man.
Webbo Posted 17 March 2009 Posted 17 March 2009 Sorry, I don't see what the fuss is about. Mildly amusing, nothing more.
Uncle Monty Posted 17 March 2009 Posted 17 March 2009 Hilarious. "You might say having big writing across two pages is witty and funny............. but it's not"
Daggers Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 And this is why I saved it to Friday night. Brilliant. As always.
stez Posted 20 March 2009 Posted 20 March 2009 And this is why I saved it to Friday night.Brilliant. As always. oh, fvck!
Finchy Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Watching it now, it's absolutely hilarious. This Del Boy sketch is brilliant love Stewart Lee.
Flynny Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Absolutely adore him but tonight wasn't quite up to last week.
Finnegan Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 Sorry, I don't see what the fuss is about. Mildly amusing, nothing more. It's very niche humour. The sort of comedy where the people who find it funny think that they only find it funny because they "get it" and nobody else does. I quite like him, he does make me laugh but I prefer laugh-out-loud comedians.
