Edit: I believe this is false The design for the home shirt will be unveiled to supporters at the final home game of the season against S****horpe United. The commemorative kit will go on sale in the summer and be worn for the whole of the 2009-10 season. Link

There was a rumour about an Adidas kit which I would be very happy with but can't see that personally. Basically no-ones know fo sho who will be the kit maker, all we know is the Jako deal runs out in the summer.

I'm not sure I don't think MM was too happy with the delay of the Black away shirts and that fooked up any chance of a renewal with them, Not sure that's just how i've read things. Also they are selling off all the Jako sportswear off in the shop cheap ain't they, that could just be a way of clearing this seasons stock but I believe it is to clear all the Jako sportswear.

Yes but if we were to do so we'd certainly be breaching our sponsorship deal with Topps Tiles and probably our deal with Jako if we're changing shirt manufacturers as expected.

Probably, but I'd have thought Mandaric signed a contract with Jako stating we'd be wearing their kits for the entirety of this season, and Topps Tiles stating we'd be baring their logo on our shirts for the entirety of this season. In other words, we probably wouldn't be able to actually wear the kit in action until pre-season. Chelsea have worn their following season's kit before the end of the season (Champions League final) but they were staying with adidas and Samsung, so the situation would have been different. I could be wrong, but I think that 'unveiled' means either one of the Fox Hunt hotties wearing it on the touchline or a few pictures in the programme.

Sooper Steve's shin Posted 19 March 2009 Posted 19 March 2009 Whatever the contract says, there's nothing to stop us cutting a deal with Topps and Jako - give them a full-page spread in the programme and some free tickets or something. I can't imagine they would be that bothered about coming after us for breach of contract for just one game.

Unless I have missed something I believe the Jako contract has been cut short because of their failure to meet contractual obligations and the fact it was a 2 year deal with a 2 year add-on if they performed well. In any event they are being binned for being cr@p.
