Guest Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Linkety-Link This is where I'm visiting tomorrow and could well be moving to for work instead of London. The lovely Salford Quays (once they've finished building the place obviously) Any Manc Foxes on here know of any good pubs to visit tomorrow night?

l444ry Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Google Street View Finds Osama Bin Laden in Dundee Just hours after Google launched its revolutionary 'Street View' allowing subscribers to view 360-degree images of the road outside any address on virtually any street in one of 25 cities, including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, there were more than 200 reported sightings of Osama Bin Laden. Bin Laden, who has been missing for several years now, was reportedly spotted outside a semi-detached house in Dundee, putting out his recycling boxes, cleaning his windows and "chatting to the postman" "It was a billion to one chance" a spokesman for Dundee Police told reporters "you could clearly see Mr Bin Laden outside the house, washing his car, giving a thumbs up to a passing cyclist and shouting at a white van driver for parking on the pavement." One Street View fan in Manchester noticed the elusive terror suspect answering the front door for a pizza delivery. "It was amazing" he explained "The view was so detailed that you could actually see it was a Mighty Meaty with extra jalapenos and sweetcorn. I was gobsmacked. You don't think of Osama Bin Laden liking sweetcorn do you?" Bin Laden and his belongings were no longer at the house when police arrived, and neighbours reported seeing him a few minutes before "on a moped with a backpack" but thanks to Google Street View, MI5 was able to track his journey. "He dropped off some videos at Blockbusters" a government spokesman told reporters "Then he popped into Ikea for some energy saving light bulbs, bought some Anusol in Boots then got on a coach to Wigan." A Google spokesman has confirmed that "unfortunately Street View won't be covering Wigan until 2025."
