siparker06 Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 You know what i don't think they do. Could be wrong though but i've never heard or read of a P'Boro player being called up for a British team or any world team. You need to get reading or listening harder then. Craig Morgan has been capped 14 times by Wales. Joe Lewis is in the England U21 team, and was called up for the England team for the games against USA and T&T last year. Gabby Zakuani is a DR Congo international. Paul Coutts is a Scotland U21 midfielder. And Tommy 'Mr Nicola McLean' Williams once represented Cyprus. But luckily for you DR Congo don't have a game, Lewis and Coutts have been given special dispensation to play, and Craig Morgan is currently injured, and I doubt he will travel with Wales, so you shold get a chance to see some International players playing for Posh on Saturday. I honestly think that we couldn't ask for a better time to be playing you, with something to prove after our last game. Close to a sell out already, a bigger crowd than against Leeds, and our 4th Midday kick off of the season, without losing on so far.
clazkel Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 3-3 draw, great atmosphere, tense game. Bring on the Pboro! Really looking forward to this one
Corky Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Can't wait for this one. Big game, terracing, early kick-off, brilliant stuff C'mon, let's have a win
Fox92 Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Think we will win actually. I realise King and Howard are out and maybe Cleverly. But, Peterborough will be attacking which will leave them open and we can exploit them just like when they came to the Walkers. When a side puts 5 behind the ball, we usually cannot break them down but when Peterborough came they attacked and that is why we scored 4. ____ Cannot wait though, 5 days left and my first visit to London Road. ____ 2-1 Leicester. ____

And they will have learnt from the thrashing they got at our ground. They'll attack, but with more caution.
Raj Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 After all the build up and me not going, hope it pisses it down and ends up being a 0-0 bore draw!!!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 I'd hope that after another week on the training pitches they'll have adapted a bit more to the absence of the players that we know are going to be out. Even so, I'd be delighted with a draw
StanSP Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Although I'd also be delighted with a draw, I think we could pull off a win. Whether its scrappy or sensational, I think it could be done. I know we are missing key players, but NP will make it clear how big this is and it is a must-win game. I told you I'd change my views during the week!
Corky Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 After all the build up and me not going, hope it pisses it down and ends up being a 0-0 bore draw!!! No, we want sunshine
StanSP Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 No, we want sunshine Heavy rain for Weds, Thurs and Friday in Peterborough...
Corky Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 If our away support is good, we WILL win. It generally has been this season. I'm sure we'll be up for it.
CosbehFox Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 They're in shit-hot form, we're not. Talking to a P'boro fan on tinterweb today, he claims that a lot of these victories have been 1-0 grind out's in a similar vein as ourselves pre-Davies. Played much better football earlier in the season, maybe after our hammering they learnt to tighten up. Their luck's been as much as ours - ie. playing with ten men against Northampton, woodwork hit three times against H'pool.
gerrytaggart Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 I can't see us conceding a goal......I feel a 1-0 - second half winner for fryatt. assist by .dyer

TBH ive never heard of any of those other players. Then again you probably have never heard of Kisnorbo, Mattock, Tunchev, Adams, King etc

LCFC123 Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 2-1 win; Fryatt with both, putting him on 30 for the season and 25 in the league
JakeShingler Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Early kick off?? Is it on TV or something? Nah Barry Fry Bottled it.
Joe. Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Early kick off?? Is it on TV or something? Nah we're just too massive for 3 p.m. kick offs in Peterborough.
morris1234 Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 dont like this one, i hope they prove me wrong again but with the lack of howard i feel their defence will have an easy day at dealing with things thus springing counter attacks. im going for a 2-0 peterbrough win. sorry city, PROVE ME WRONG AGAIN!! i actully dreamt the other night tha thye beat us 6-2. bloody hope not!
maddog Posted 24 March 2009 Author Posted 24 March 2009 you could have just replied "ok you owned me". Ok he owned me
