Bert Posted 22 March 2009 Author Posted 22 March 2009 WarnerGilbert Hobbs Morrison Mattock Gradel Oakley Berner Dyer Fryatt Dickov Surprised so many people want Kisnorbo back in so soon, especially considering the defence has been reasonably solid. I think it would be disastrous to throw him back in against one of the most potent attacks in the league, and against two fast, direct runners like McLean and Mackail-Smith. Talk about baptism of fire, he's not going to be match fit. Morrison nearly cost us points in both of our last two games, (More than likely down to in-experience) and both games, he was dominated in the air.
unreachable Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Warner Gilbert Hobbs Morrison Powell Gradel Oakley Berner Mattock Fryatt Hayles I think that Pearson will take a cautious approach and opt for a less attacking midfield with Mattock on the left midfield. Hayles is worth a second chance since I think the refereee was unduly harsh on him against Colchester and he also offers a physical presence up front. Hayles will also be good defensively.
Thracian Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Yeah seem`s pearson has overlooked wesolowski Or could have said unless u prove ur fitness then you won`t be coming back??? but if he is playing well against celtic thats a better standard of opposition than were playing week in week out. No-one has ever questioned that Wesolowski can play well as a combative midfielder. They've questioned whether he can do it week in, week out against demanding opposition. Also against Wesolowski is that he doesn't win much in the air, doesn't score many goals and doesn't really create. He's nothing like Davies and that's the sort of player we need, someone with a bit of pace and movement who's prepared to ask questions of the opposition.
Candidcamera Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 He did play like that in his early injury free days. I remember him breaking through. He is what ever he is asked to play and I agree he is not good in the air but nor was Lennon. I do hope he makes it though. He is also not in the style of Davies but the one who got away, I think, fits him perfectly.
Raj Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 We should start with Hayles and Dickov The oppostion would be so busy laughing it'll give us a chance to sneak a goal!!!

Talk about baptism of fire, he's not going to be match fit. We'll have our backs to the wall for at least half of the game, situation suits 'norbo. Whereas, Morrison is prone to the odd mistake (which nearly cost us at the 'Wall).
crafty fox Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 i would tell billy kee he is starting on saturday, posh wouldnt know who he was, and by the time they realise we will be three up thanks to him hitting a first half hat-trick and he goes on to be the next lineker. the rest is history a'thank ya!!
JoeyB Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 Leicester City assistant manager Craig Shakespeare has revealed the club will know the full extent of Tom Cleverley's injury 'before the end of the week'.The young midfielder, who is on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season, was forced to leave the field of play during the first half of the Foxes' 1-1 draw with Colchester United after dislocating his shoulder. But Shakespeare confirmed that it was still too soon to determine if the player would be available for Saturday's League One clash against Peterborough United. He said: "Tom has gone back to Manchester United for further assessment. They will then make a decision later in the week. "Tom is a strong lad who has got very good upper body strength. He has really grown in confidence since he has been here and his performances have got better with each game. He was looking a real threat for us. "He then got his first England U20 call up on the back of that form, which was a great reward for all the hard work he has put in over the season. "Admittedly it's not looking good, but let's not write him off yet because he is a strong boy." Meanwhile, supporters are reminded that Leicester have already sold out their entire allocation of 4,100 tickets for the Peterborough clash at London Road. No tickets will be available on the day of the game.
maddog Posted 23 March 2009 Posted 23 March 2009 WarnerGilbert Hobbs Morrison Berner Gradel Oakley Adams Dyer Fryatt Chambers Subs: Stockdale, Mattock, Kisnorbo, Hayles, Dickov. Mattock has been gash recently. Although he will have to play otherwise we will be a player short in midfield. With Adams and Dj out on loan, Cleverly, King and Howard out, we are seriously fooked for this game the more i look at it. Now Adams is back id play him.
teblin Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 I wonder if pearson may play 4 5 1 on saturday. Warner Gilbert Kisnorbo Hobbs MattockGradel Oakley Berner DyerAdams/Cleaverley(as i read he may be fit)Fryatt
Lichfieldfox. Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 Team I think Pearson will play: Warner Gilbert Kisnorbo Hobbs Powell Gradel Oakley Berner Dyer Fryatt Dickov Subs: Stockdale, Adams, Morrison, Hayles, Chambers Personally I'd recall DJ Campbell and Weso from their loan spells and play: Warner Gilbert Kisnorbo Hobbs Berner Gradel Oakley Wesolowski Dyer Fryatt Campbell
CosbehFox Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 Personally I'd recall DJ Campbell and Weso from their loan spells and play: We can't.
Lichfieldfox. Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 We can't. I know. Pearson has had a great season but sending these 2 out on season long loans was a mistake in my view.
ousefox Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 Warner Gilbert- WB Hobbs Kisnorbo Morrison Mattock- WB Gradel - attacking right winger Oakley Berner Dyer- attacking right winger Fryatt
Fox92 Posted 24 March 2009 Posted 24 March 2009 Warner Gilbert Morrison Hobbs Powell Gradel Oakley Berner Dyer Mattock Fryatt ____ Generally we can see that Mattock is not a left midfielder but I could see him doing a good job and obviously attacking and getting back to help Powell. like Gradel would Gilbert. Fryatt on his own but Oakley and Dyer making three with the leading goalscorer. Then, Bruno can sit in front of the defence. Dyer to play midfield because he likes coming inside and he can run up them along with Oakley - [to make three as said above] ____ Take a draw, love a win. C'mon Leicester.
