Bert Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Warner Gilbert--Hobbs--Kisnorbo--MattockGradel--Oakley---Berner--DyerFryatt--Dickov/Hayles I'd love it to be Fryatt and Chambers up front, but I just can't see it.
Unit Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 This is the biggest game of the season as far as i'm concerned... i agree with your line up, i'd love chambo to get a go but can't see it, maybe start dicov and bring chambers on? anybody know why dicov didn't replace hayles today?
clazkel Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Give Chambers a chance, lets attack with pace please Warner Gilbert Hobbs Morrison MattockHayles Berner Oakely gradelFryatt Chambers
Guest Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Warner/Stockdale (Or Martin preferably if he's back) Gilbert Hobbs Kisnorbo Mattock Gradel Oakley Berner Dyer Fryatt Dickov Subs Gradel Morrison Pentney Chambers Powell Much like Bert, I'd love to see Chambers start but don't realistically think it will happen

Bert Posted 21 March 2009 Author Posted 21 March 2009 I'm sure we've used the amount of loans we're allowed to use for the whole season. Half of them on goalkeepers! But when we have, Fryatt, Hayles, Dickov, and Chambers as registered first team players, we won't be allowed an "emergency" loan.
Mark Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Recall Weso or Adams and play an attacking 4-3-3 Warner Gilbert Hobbs Morrison Mattock ------------ Berner -----Weso/Adams Oakley Gradel ---------------------- Dyer -------------- Fryatt
Joe. Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Warner Gilbert---Hobbs---Morrison---Mattock Gradel---Berner---Oakley---Dyer Fryatt---Hayles Need a bit more bit to the midfield I think.
Bert Posted 21 March 2009 Author Posted 21 March 2009 WarnerGilbert---Hobbs---Morrison---Mattock Oakley---Berner---King---Gradel Fryatt---Hayles Need a bit more bit to the midfield I think. Oakley's performances on the right earlier in the season were good, and I'd like to see him tried out there again to accomodate Berner in the middle. Seen a mistake yet Joe.? Cadbury's is suspended.

Warner Gilbert Morrison Hobbs MattockGradel Oakley Berner DyerChambers FryattSubs Stockdale, Kisnorbo, Adams*, Hayles, Dickov * I think his loan was due to expire this weekend I meant a striker with pace for a change as we cant knock long ball without Howard, and it didnt work up front today, i think Hayles is a better option than Dyer at the minute as he gets back and helps defend!!

Joe. Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 Seen a mistake yet Joe.?Cadbury's is suspended. Oh yeah, shit. That's just habit putting him in. Gradel---Oakley---Berner---Dyer Not really many other options in midfield is there?

I think you're allowed 8 short term loan deals
davieG Posted 21 March 2009 Posted 21 March 2009 I think you're allowed 8 short term loan deals Since season 2005/06 Football League clubs have been subject to FIFA's registration and transfer rules which included the introduction of transfer windows between the end of the season and 31st August and during the month of January, i.e. 1st to 31st. The rules affected both permanent and loan transfers and in order to comply The League amended its own regulations governing this area. Previous restrictions on the length of loan periods were altered to allow players of all ages to be loaned from window to window for either a half or full season. Clubs are allowed to register a maximum of eight such signings, four under 23 and a further four over 23 in any season, with only two of the latter age group being allowed to come from the same club. Additionally, The League, with the approval of the FA, made provision for clubs to take players on short term emergency loans during the closed periods in exceptional circumstances – there is no limit on the number of emergency loans. As in previous seasons, no more than five loan players will be allowed to feature in a club's 16 man matchday squad. The transfer deadline of the fourth Thursday in March in each season still applies. The regulations are contained in The League's Handbook which is available to purchase from this office. Please advise if you would like to receive a publications pro-forma for the 2007/08 season. Thank you for contacting The Football League. Strange Kisnorbo not in the squad yesterday I hope he isn't injured.

Half of them on goalkeepers! But when we have, Fryatt, Hayles, Dickov, and Chambers as registered first team players, we won't be allowed an "emergency" loan. I might be wrong but are long term loans different too short term of "emergency" loans. My reckoning we have had 4 emergency loans 3 keepers and Davies, though i might have forgotten one. Think you are allowed 5. If we can get someone in on loan for a month i think it would be worth it just to get us over that line. I'd go Warner Gilbert Kisnorbo Hobbs Mattock Gradel Berner Oakley Dyer Fryatt Loan(if not chambers for pace, but it won't happen)
Thracian Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 What an unenviable choice it is. Stockdale; Gilbert, Hobbs, Kisnorbo, Powell; Gradel, Oakley, Berner. Dyer; Porter, Fryatt. That said I'd still recall DJ if possible. Subs: Pentney, Morrison, Dickov, Kee, Chambers.
Candidcamera Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Away from home is where we can mask the injuries etc. I wouldn't change the defence, no need. However, if players on the pitch can be moved around ie Berner and Mattock, Kisnorbo and Gilbert it gives us options during the match. Gradel is just such a great sub to come on and change a game. At this stage of the season Cambell would not fit in IMO. Chambers has no match practise - nor has Porter but he is more experienced and we are threadbare in midfield.
Cropwellfox Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 If there would have been a game to put 5 across midfield this would have been it - not without King and Cleverley though.... So making the assumption that we won't see any new loans this week, also that Pearson seems very reluctant to start with Gradel away from home... Warner Gilbert Hobbs Morrison Mattock Adams Oakley Berner Dyer Dickov Fryatt Subs: Kisnorbo, Gradel, Hayles, Powell, Stockdale
Webbo Posted 22 March 2009 Posted 22 March 2009 Stockdale Gilbert Hobbs Morrison MattockGradel Oakley Berner DyerFryatt Dickov. SUBS: Warner/Martin. Powell Kisnorbo Hayles Chambers. The midfield picks itself. After yesterday it's obvious that Hayles is better as an impact player from the bench plus Dickov deserves a start after his goal.
