lildave3 Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Ruined it. Too long and without the best bits. Bit harsh.
Alexikokopops Posted 5 April 2009 Posted 5 April 2009 Yeah 'cos by 3pm it's jampacked. There's still a lot more people than at half two
rockstarfox Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 In regard to the loudness of the track, I'm looking at that this week and will make sure it sounds louder at the Leeds game, as I agree - it was a bit too quiet. Unfortunately the club requested more lyric changes than expected so the Pat Kisnorbo line has also come out yes. I also believe they want to play it closer to kick off, but had a schedule to keep on Saturday and want to slowly introduce the song to the people that haven't heard it, rather than suddenly change the pre-match playlist that we're used to hearing. Cheers

Cheers So it is definetly going to be played v leeds. Depending on how loud it is and the way sky cover the game in the pre match build up it could be heard on the tv if you think about it

Cheers Hey Rockstarfox, I really like the track but I feel the drums having that kinda half temp, downbeat kinda feel on the version that was played on saturday (from what I could hear of it) would work well if it was ramping up to something faster in a rock/punk kinda style, but as it is I keep expecting the track to really kick in and then it doesn't. Then again, I'm not producing it so my opinion really is of no consequence in this instance but just thought I'd offer it up anyway. EDIT: Also, if you want me to master it for you I can have a crack at it, I'm a mix engineer that is currently working for BBC News but does some freelance work too
daveyboy Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 Any chance of the new version being posted on here? ...?
rockstarfox Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 There's still a couple of tweaks to be done, and there will be a new version available at some point soon. There should also be an edit containing the lines that can't be played at the Walkers.

All in all i can imagine any charity having this released for their benefit will get a nice tidy little sum of money.

john_lcfc Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 I want to get it on my phone as ringtonw, but am very untechnological. Can I/ how do I do this? (simple steps for a dummy)
daveyboy Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 I want to get it on my phone as ringtonw, but am very untechnological. Can I/ how do I do this? (simple steps for a dummy) Depends on your phone, if you have bluetooth on both your phone and computer sending it that is probably the simplest. If not, you may have a USB cable for your phone and then you could use that with the software provided possibly (once youve installed the software its normally pretty seft explanitory)...
martyn Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 I love the track but it seemed to go on for an eternity sitting in the stadium, almost as if it could do with a couple of verses being cut. Maybe it's just me.

Guppy Posted 18 April 2009 Posted 18 April 2009 Anyone else just see this on SSN? Yep, quite a bit of the song was on too surprisingly, sounded good.
DB11 Posted 18 April 2009 Posted 18 April 2009 It's been Leeds now - can anyone post the new track up?
Matt Posted 18 April 2009 Posted 18 April 2009 Anyone else just see this on SSN? Yep, quite a bit of the song was on too surprisingly, sounded good. What was said about it? I presume they were reporting about Leicester and just included the song in some way? It's been Leeds now - can anyone post the new track up? Huh?
DB11 Posted 18 April 2009 Posted 18 April 2009 Huh? The Leeds game has happened now so surely he can post up the new track?
