England Vs Ukraine

Listened online I said before its Ukraine who will be our biggest rivals but it sounded we we're quite confortable, its a massive win for england as we have 2 pretty easy matches next so hopefully it will be 7 wins which may mean games away to Ukraine and home to Croatia we can afford to drop points butt hopefully we'll win them all.

One dissapointing thing though and I know I've mentioned it before but the crowd we're so quiet I also had scotland streaming radio and the atmosphere was brilliant.

I just wish english fans would make some bloody noise.

The band, for all their critics, tried hard to create an atmosphere, but a lot sat in silence.

I know many will dissagree but I think its great to see Northern Ireland, Scotland, Republic Of Ireland & England all doing well especially after all of us missing out last time.

You got to feel sorry for the people of San Marino.

They really are absolutely fuucking wank.

It's bloody ridiculous though. Not their fault at all, but we need to get rid of these one-sided mismatches in some way.

Furiously disagree.

I hate the arrogance of the so-called stronger nations with atitudes like "it inconveniences us to have to play Lichenstein" or whatever. Get fooked.

They've as much right as anyone to compete.

They should have their own group where the best of the bad bunch get through, at least then you wont get these one sided games and it will give a small nation a chance to go the the WC, of course this will then mean they will become the whipping boys but one crap team woldnt be too bad, because currently there is no point of them even having competitive matches.

Can't believe people are suggesting Rooney for Man of the Match.....he was god awful in the 2nd half. A good first half and constant spaffing by ITV does not a Man of the Matcheth make.

Rio was mine....imperious.

Hey Finners, I'm not saying we should disregard them at all. I'm saying we should have a system where they could play teams around their own level first, get used to winning games and then take on the higher nations, hopefully with a bit of confidence gained from winning and playing well.

Of course they have a right to compete, I'd rather see them gain some confidence and then show what they're about. It's not an inconvience at all, I feel for the players and fans of these nations, it must hurt so much getting beaten 10-0 or whatever.

The commentators we're mentioning rooney lost it (again) and should have been sent off...didnt see it but if true when will he learn, he'll end up getting banned or injuring himself then what good is he.

The people of nations like Andorra and San Marino, the eternal whipping boys, could honestly not give a fuck if they were required to compete against lesser nations in order to reach a proper qualifying group.

It was a dreadful challenge, looked to have purposely followed through a clearance and landed studs up right on the knee joint.

So do I at Wembley to be honest - and some do try. In tournaments and away matches England fans normally are quite loud

I think Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man should be allowed to compete as individual nations.

Mostly agree with Finners on this though. Lame as it may be for the quality of football at times, each member nation of UEFA/FIFA deserves equality regardless of its size or sporting prowess. That's the way a Federation works.

It wasn't as bad as you've just made out tbh.

I hardly think he did it purposely to hurt the opposition.

This and England have always struggled against the so - called lesser teams in the past anyway.
