BlabyFox Posted 6 April 2009 Author Posted 6 April 2009 Leicester: Hereford - Win Leeds - loss Southend - Win S****horpe - Draw Crewe - Win 10 points. Overall = 93 points Peterborough: Cheltenham - Win Millwall - Draw Stockport - Win Colchester - Win Swindon - Win 12 points. Overall = 93 points. We go up as champions on goal difference.
BlabyFox Posted 6 April 2009 Author Posted 6 April 2009 i over heard someone in the pub after saturdays game saying 'we could do with Millwall beating Peterborough next week'. i thought to myself- your joking aint ya? keep millwall as far away from us as poss. I agree with the guy in the pub. If Peterborough win or draw a team gets closer to us in the league. If millwall win then no team gets closer to us in the league.

Depends on whether you're setting your sights on 1st or 2nd I guess - I want Millwall to give the Posh a total spanking.
unreachable Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 I agree with the guy in the pub. If Peterborough win or draw a team gets closer to us in the league. If millwall win then no team gets closer to us in the league. If Peterborough win it makes Millwall's maximum total less so it must benefit Leicester. Millwall's loss might promote us so I'll be happy with that even in second place.

The Doctor Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Just been on the bbc results predictor and there is no need to worry 3 wins and a draw from our next 4 games if peterboro fail to win 2 of their games
Koke Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Just been on the bbc results predictor and there is no need to worry 3 wins and a draw from our next 4 games if peterboro fail to win 2 of their games Peterborough don't look like losing any time in 2009.
The Doctor Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Peterborough don't look like losing any time in 2009. i didn't say losing i said failing to win, that includes draws as well
lildave3 Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Peterborough don't look like losing any time in 2009. We never looked like losing either. Things change.
Sods Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Im still confident. We have the best team in the league, Boro are going through a very good period which will have to come to an end sometime. We are capable of winning the next 5 games ourselves. Come on City, we didn't get this far to throw it away, its ours and I can't wait to stand up for the champions on the last game of the season.
carterfox90 Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 as long as we go up thats all that matters come the start of the next season the trophy will mean zilch !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fox92 Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Before the start of the season I predicted us to come 5th and then I would have settled for a play-off place. A few months ago when we were 12 points clear or whatever it was I wanted the title and therefore promotion aswell. At this current time, 7th April 2009, I will settle for 2nd. However and having said all this, I want the title dearly. - I know that winning promotion is the main thing but winning the title aswell would be sensational. At our first attempt, and hopefully our last, to win the league - which Forest, Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday didn't do would be nice. Also, to be in this league the once and win it would be lovely!
Ultra Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 We are capable of winning the next 5 games ourselves. We were capable of winning the last five games as well - only ended up winning one though..
Dr The Singh Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 We were capable of winning the last five games as well - only ended up winning one though.. The question is, do you actually care about going up as one of the biggest tossers, ignorants, 2 faced, hypocritical, slanderers in FT history???
Ultra Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 The question is, do you actually care about going up as one of the biggest tossers, ignorants, 2 faced, hypocritical, slanderers in FT history??? Give it a rest. Your stalking act is becoming a bore...
Dr The Singh Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Give it a rest. Your stalking act is becoming a bore... Now, your telling me what to do? So it's ok for you to spout shit towards me, don't like the reverse do you??? MAKE ME!!
Daggers Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 You have to understand Singhy that Ultra has a wonderful Nazi-style approach to debate - he invents history, repeats lies, smears people who don't agree with him and hides behind legal threats. He's like the BNP of Foxestalk.

He's like the BNP of Foxestalk. That's a real shame, i'm into the more Real IRA approach, or that Sikh Seperatist approach!! LEGAL THREATS, WTF!!! :w00t: Fook me, that is low!!! I'm just glad I can use my superior knowledge and intelligence to fart over people like Ultra, I think i'm having a change of heart though........as Gandhi once said about Hitler and i'm sure he would say about Ultra: “We have no doubt about your bravery or devotion to your fatherland, nor do we believe that you are the monster described by your opponents.” Gandhi’s wrote letters to his friend Hitler and supported him. Gandhi’s horrific advice to Jews—Commit mass suicide.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 In my opinion 5/6 more points will do it. That would put us 12/13 points ahead of Millwall with 15 to play for, so realistically you could say 4. Millwall play Bristol Rovers away and Peterborough at home. They won't take 6 points from them, I think they could slip up and not beat Bristol Rovers and I think (and I want) Peterborough to beat Millwall. Then if we beat Hereford (I expect us to) and can avoid defeat to an in form Leeds side we can almost get. I honestly think we can have it as good as sealed by Monday afternoon. I'm even hosting a 'Promotion party!' on Bank Holiday Monday!!!! CCCCCCCCCCCC'MMMMMMOOOOOON
BoneDog Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 I never thought I'd say this, but, COME ON MILLWALL, uck em up!
CasperBlue Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 I never thought I'd say this, but, COME ON MILLWALL, uck em up! :w00t:
maddog Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 My head says we could still end up finishing 3rd, my heart says we will definitely finish 2nd comfortably.
colbo68 Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 Its now looking less and less likely that we will win the league with our poor form and peterboroughs run. but do you care so long as we go up? yes I fookin do!! if we dont win this shitty league now it will be a bloody travesty!!!
Father Ted Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 Now, your telling me what to do? So it's ok for you to spout shit towards me, don't like the reverse do you???MAKE ME!! unreachable Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 yes I fookin do!! if we dont win this shitty league now it will be a bloody travesty!!! If we don't get the most points we won't be the best - so why is that a travesty? The table doesn't lie and all that.........
