Cobbo Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 I thought this lad was excellent when he came on! He wanted the ball all day long and looked to make things happen. Positive impact.
bluebeau Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 I thought he looked like a very decent player, someone that could actually open up a defence instead of just knocking a long ball towards Stevie's head.Just looks like an arrogant bastard. But I'm sure we could learn to love him. I agree with that. My first impressions were, he's got a very big ego for a 17yr old. Made himself look a twat by trying to do a Ronaldo with his first touch. However, I am sure he has potential to be a decent player. Remember our other 'bighead' Matt Jones, and what happened to him? He had one good game ( his first ) & then faded into the wilderness, ending in his career shattering injury.
carterfox90 Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 maybe at 17 is he a bit young to be put into what now is a battle to go up but as been said his corner free kicks were a vast improvement on oakleys
Daggers Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Bloody foreign player - coming over here, wanting the ball and moving play forward and demonstrating a love of flair. How dare he, the impudent whelp.
davieG Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Looked nervous and got lucky with his pass that fluked to King that eventually led to the 2nd goal.Hard to say but I was disappointed that Gradel went off as I thought he was one of our better players both in of attacking and defending and taking corners. I take that back having seen a replay it look like he intended it.

How dare he, the impudent whelp. Just seen his interview.............not lacking in confidence is he!!! I'm quietly excited about this chap. Dyer didn't look like he appreciated his instructions too much! Lets hope he settles in with the lads! Just booked my ticket for the Leeds game £28 fooking quid

Lillehamring Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 um, so is he still technically a trialist, or have we bought/loaned/kidnapped him
Jimmy Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 he's on a two month loan, with a view to signing him trialists cannot play competitive matches
jimmer Posted 7 April 2009 Author Posted 7 April 2009 its like being back in the premiership at those prices for that money ihope your seat is on the subs bench I too have a hair band and silky white boots fit in a treat! money well spent
The Doctor Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 um, so is he still technically a trialist, or have we bought/loaned/kidnapped him We've loaned him until the end of the season but then cus pool are releasing him we can sign him on a free at the end of the season. If we start negotiations in may/june then no-one else would be able to get him because his loan is until the end of the season so he would return to pool on 1st july 09 and because he doesn't have a recall clause teams other than us can sign him until his loans over. Also they can't sign him on a pre contract like az did with joey a couple of seasons back because he has another season on his contract at pool note: at least this was how it worked a couple of seasons back
Nick Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 I didn't make it to the game or listen to the radio commentary but I thought he was poor, showed off too much and generally didn't gel with the creative playing side we have currently. Get rid.
