stez Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 is he the one who did that 'football firms' thing on sky?
Daggers Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 just wondering what people think of him or his films I think most of his films are vapid bollocks. Knowing he has a background in martial arts and not drama probably explains why he doesn't pull any decent roles and is one-dimensional.
rico Posted 7 April 2009 Author Posted 7 April 2009 no,that was danny dyer js used to go out with kelly brook and got his break in lock, stock
lou Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Who cares about the films........... hes FIT!! Nah his films are generally average IMO but Id quite happily watch him reciting the dictionary - shallow I know! Danny Dyers fit too

I think he used to dive competitively. Imo he is the noughties Jan Claude Van Damme or Steven Seagal. He only stars in low budget, low brow action films that no real actor would touch with a barge pole.
Fox You Forest Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 He only stars in low budget, low brow action films that no real actor would touch with a barge pole. Exactly, and Phube pays to see these films.

Bit random, but does anyone know the name of that Van Damme movie where he rides a dirtbike round a building site I think at night, then goes over a jump, does a mid-air backflip kicks the bad guy off his dirtbike jumps on and lands it? It was one BBC1 late one evening a while back in that timeslot they fill with Rambo 3 and the Segal movie on the ship.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Crank 1,2, & 3... not a patch on the Transporter 1,2 & 3. I think all of these might be the same film, to be honest. He's no Seagal that's for sure. Give me Half Past Dead any day of the week.

Dr The Singh Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 Seagal knows his movies crap acting, just action and he sticks to it. Plus he's one hell of a guitarist He's a great chef, well he was in one of his pics!!! JS has done really well since Lock Stock, I doubt he thinks himself a great actor, he's just a type cast action man!!

AyewJoking Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 Rubbish actor, his films are ok if you like a bit of mindless action, which I do.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 8 April 2009 Posted 8 April 2009 White martial artists, Statham, Van Damme, Seagal, Norris (Yes, even CHUCK!) etc look awkward and robotic compared to the Asian martial artists like Chan, Lee, Li, Yen, Jaa, etc. I'd much rather watch a HK/Chinese martial arts film than the tripe Hollywood churns out.
act smiley Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 What! Under Siege is a classic.Hard Target? I shall track this down and if its what I'm thinking of, you will be a hero to me. And yes, Under Siege is a true classic of modern cinema.
