Corky Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Pfft, you can get out of our harsh club! Leese and I are recruiting NorthamptonFox instead. Thracian has joined Lavrentis. Fine I do mean to sound harsh. Am I allowed back in please?
AoWW Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Fine I do mean to sound harsh.Am I allowed back in please? Hmmmmm, I dunno - you might have to prove you're worthy. I'll consult with the harsh crew.
Asha Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 WOW. Just, WOW. That was brilliant INITIATE ARMOUR....BREAAAAAAAATHE. Then the buzzer thing with their heads. Magic.
Corky Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 That was class. They are talented. If Stavros don't win, I want Diversity to.
AoWW Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 I'm not being harsh on these AoWW, they're awesome. That's permitted on this occasion.
JoeyB Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Got to be Stavros or Diversity tbh! If that bitch Boyle wins its a fix!
Joe. Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 If Diversity don't win it'll be a shambles. Absolutely brilliant.
Corky Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 If Diversity don't win it'll be a shambles. Absolutely brilliant. It takes a lot of skill to make that work perfectly, and it did.
Number 6 Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 I wonder who Simon wants to win, a singer who is popular in America and therefore very marketable, or a dance act, hmmmm...
Libertine Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 That was class. They are talented. If Stavros don't win, I want Diversity to. This.
Thracian Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 I love to watch people of exceptional ability and tonight's show was packed with them. Good luck to the public in choosing a winner because you could make a case for lots of them. I'm already looking out for a saxophone. I could die happy if I ever produced a sound like that. Truly inspiring. Diversity too. Some of tonight's acts relied on other people's ideas and material but Diversity were a right up-to-the-minute act with transformers-type choreography that was not just imaginative and talent stretching but refreshingly different. Entertainment is all about making people feel uplifted, happy and inspired and so many people tonight had that effect. I fail to understand criticism of the show. Only one thing really matters for an entertainment concept and that is that people want to watch it. And the show has attracted millions. Normally I can take or leave television but I was happy to watch that. Of course some of the acts in early rounds made me cringe and there was an over-abundance of corniness at times. Together though they served to make people talk, they made a day to remember for veryone who took part and they helped to build up the drama and expectation. There will always be criticism but I could write a long, long, list of positives. I won't because no-one would thank me for it but whoever thought the show up deserves every accolade. And so do the judges although why they chose to daub such a lovely lady as Amanda Holden in make-up God only knows. It looked hideous. She's far too attractive both in looks and personality to need all, if any, of that gunge.
JoeyB Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 The only thing i hate about BGT is the fact there are so many singers on it. There is already a show for singers or channel 3 called XFACTOR
The Birch Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Would love it if Stavros Flatley won, anyone but Susan Boyle would be good though.
