mitchofox Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Just been on WACCOE (I know i shouldnt, me and wanting to start WW3)But they cant complain about the game, so they are complaining about our support... and how we are 'embarrasing' for only getting 27k, and how proud they are to be leeds fans... and how wonderful their fans are. Yeah, Newcastle have 'wonderful' fans... dont make their team any good and how loud they were sorry it what happens on the pitch
Tilley Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 We were never going to outsing a Leeds United away following. But, who cares? We got an orgasm in the 92nd minute, this is all I care about.

Ford Super Sunday Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I PROMISE this is the only WACCOE quote I will post... PROMISE... SCOUTS HONOUR Sounded immense today, really rubbed Lestas noses in it. Tin pot f***ing club, it's a shame they're going up because they'd found their level in this league IMHO. Bitter Much?
lou Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood evening everyone!!!!!! Im very drunk and bloody still buzzing from earlier......... what an amazing day, great game, cracking atmosphere and terrific result. Thought it was nil nil til super Steve decided otherwise......... cue celebrations I havent seen since God knows when! Thought we were the better side (despite what some are saying to the contrary!) and my Leeds fan m8 thought so too. Was proud of all of the lads today and so good to see us playing as a team......... it was so obvious how pleased they all were at the end and it was a proud proud moment. Sorry Im waffling - thats what the wine does to me............ IM SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bring on Southend!
iancognito Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I PROMISE this is the only WACCOE quote I will post... PROMISE... SCOUTS HONOUR Bitter Much? Haha. They've been comfortable at this level for much longer than us. Never mind, they can have Charlton and Southampton as cup finals next year and maybe another local derby to look forward to - Barnsley! That one will be MASSIVE! And thanks to Millwall - WACCOL1
MC Prussian Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I find it rather amusing that I get the (dubious) honour of being quoted on "that other forum" and then they talk about lav's YouTube video to be put on their site, without knowing that it's not about them singing but Howard scoring the winner. Sad bunch of moaners, fairweather fans and bad losers.
jonw88 Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 cant be bothered to read 15 pages, but im interested to know who was Sky Sports, man of the match?? Sky's Man of the match went to Lloyd Dyer, he was pretty good, made some awesome runs at times, not sure if he'll get our Man of the match though.

Oh I thought he was deffo up there........... was loving him ripping Snodgrass for fun all afternoon hehehe
fantastic_mr_fox Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 to be fair - the only thing they are/were always going to harp on about after being outplayed is how great there fans are/where and how they 'outsang' us and 'oooh we even sang after they t'scored' - thats all they could fall back on after being outclassed by the champions just the pathetic mentality of lots of small minded, ill educated and chav tin-pot supporting northerners - sore fckin losers - they can sing all they want but theyll still be down here next season "ee by gum thats what it means to be t'leeds - get t'outclassed but we sang and shouted louder and clapped along like a bunch of t'demented sea lions" i hope they finally go bust and choke on their Hovis- they deserve to - tin pot.
Legend_in_blue Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I got quoted on WACCOE.I am quite proud. Join the club! They mentioned my quote about the car parking round the ground.
Jordan Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 It's such a great feeling having to explain to startled co-workers why I've just pumped my fist in the air and yelled, "YEAH!" because it usually has something to do with Leicester scoring a huge goal! I got to watch the first half this morning before heading off to work, and both teams were really battling. Leeds slowly got themselves into the thick of things in the last 20 minutes of the first half, so I thought the break couldn't have come at a better time. Some of the corners were awful (particularly Oakley), but Gradel's were gradually getting better, so I figured it was just a matter of time before he found a good cross. It's great to see Dyer playing with so much confidence, too. And Howard is so important to this team.
Ultra Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Haha. They've been comfortable at this level for much longer than us. Never mind, they can have Charlton and Southampton as cup finals next year and maybe another local derby to look forward to - Barnsley! That one will be MASSIVE! And thanks to Millwall - WACCOL1 And the terriers can look forward to taking six more points off them..
Guest Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Just finally got back to London after what's been a cracking weekend all round. Beautiful day out at Hereford on saturday, followed by some serious beering on saturday and sunday and to cap it all off really putting in a performance against Leeds to take all three points. Couldn't fault any of the players today but a special mention for Big Stevie Howard what a ledge
Corky Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 "You've only come to watch Leeds", they sang. Sorry, what is the highest attendance at Elland Rd this season? Wasn't it when little Leicester City visited?
Joe. Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Wait, is this guy actually serious?! http://www.waccoe.com/index.php?showtopic=143842

TonyDorigo Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Hello one and all, a Leeds fan in peace (Amazingly from WACCOE, you probably wont believe it though). Id just like to congratulate you on your ever so close to promotion win today. In my opinion, that was the best bit of League One Football there has ever been, and both sides contributed well to it. If i'm honest, I feel a draw would've been a fair result, but would not begrudge any team of winning a tie like that. Its a shame to read so many negative views towards WACCOE on here tonight though, with some complaining of us being proud in our superiority of support from today. I assure you it is not clutching at straws from today, as we can happily accept defeat against such a strong side. You must understand, though, that we were focusing on our positives, and from today, there were many. Regarding the game itself, I feel that both teams had chances to take the win, and we didnt do ours when we had the chance. You took your very last one, and a very well taken goal it was. Howard was very good throughout the game, and he's a very good player that you have there (IMO, better than Fryatt, although I can only judge from the games i've seen of them, admittedly not many). So yeah, congratulations o nyour win today, and allbeit your promotion. Good luck in your title search, and hopefully we will see you in the Championship next season. Bravo to the regular fans of Leicester City as well, who were in the own right a good home support today. It was a shame to see the cliche glory supporters who found it funny to try and cause some trouble with me and my family after the match, although they clearly are not the hardcore base supporters of Leicester City.
Asha Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 What number do i need to ring to get through to the studio? fook taunting him, you should tell him the Russell Hobbs joke instead.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Wait, is this guy actually serious?! http://www.waccoe.com/index.php?showtopic=143842 It took just one word... 'incredible' to get them ranting and raving

Legend_in_blue Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 There's two things from today's game that have annoyed me a little. First off... Grayson. To announce in the post match press conference that his team were the better side is pushing it a little bit. That surprised me. He should have been more humble in defeat. They were very workman-like, quite slow on the ball and relied heavily on set pieces from Snodgrass. Secondly... the Leeds fans. They have to resort to some sort of one-upmanship even if it means not referring to the game at all. Rather than being gracious in defeat, they criticise our support - for not being loud enough? For not singing? Oh, the shame. Judging home support has become some sort of X Factor talent show of sorts? Yeah, whatever. And us 'slightly edging' the game? Whatever. That was one superb performance and one which shall be remembered for many years to come. Awesome.
