City 1 - 0 Dirty Leeds [Post Match.]

It's funny - but one Leeds view is that we're kicking out way out of this division .... :D

From Kebablegs on the BBC (My Team) site:

"Some would say committed? Some would say aggressive but had Leeds been as physical as Leicester you would only hear "dirty Leeds".

I cant comment on Leicesters season as a whole obviously but i based on todays showing they have gone up with force. They were capable of playing the odd bit of good football but they rely totally on Steve Howard to who draws defenders to him and leaves space for the likes of Dyer and Fryatt.

Leicester chased and harried for the full 90minutes. Fryatt was all over Naylor the whole match and with Howard is the first line of defence. Oakleys tackle on Becchio showed what he is all about and then even the flimsy looking Gradel managed to kick Kilkenny when he was on the floor. Brown was superglued to Becchio for 90mins with some tough play.

I am not complaining mind. I think Leicester based on this showing have done the right thing in kicking their way out of the division. Leeds on the other hand under McAllister were too soft and thats why we languish behind. Player for player i still think we have a better squad than Leicester, but we didnt have the better manager on board. We were Leicesters' equals out there on the pitch today. Grayson is getting us there steadily and hopefully we will get a playoff spot and join Leicester next season in the CC.

Good luck to Leicester and congratulations."

1. Becchio was an embarassment today. Ok, there was a bit of a tussle between him and Brown and there was only going to be one winner on the physical side, but it was every time that he was going down like a little girl. For the good player he is it was frustrating to see.

2. I thought we were much the better side to be honest. We got the win that we deserved.

Aside from those couple of things I agree with most of that above. I don't particularly think we've muslced our way to the top however, but we do have the players like Brown and Howard who have helped in this respect. There's no doubt we've heavily relied on Steve up front this season.

Just got home after this.

Had a brilliant day. Nice to see Fez and Alex.

Sorry I didn't say goodbye to you guys but I was slowly making my way down the steps so that we could get to the above link on time.

We got halfway down, then we all know what happened. :D :D :D

Sooper Steve scored. Absolute madness ensued. I slobbered all over my mate's face in delight.

Fantastic. Fucking fantastic.

As an aside, I thought Leeds' support was awesome, and the only downer of the whole game was the ****** in front of us who tried to start some Turkey chants. <_<

:chant: :chant: :chant: :chant: :chant: "WE'LL NEVER PLAY YOU AGAIN!!!" :chant: :chant: :chant: :chant: :chant:

:dunno:

I appreciate the Leeds fans' effort, but you weren't there and they were just annoying.

Luckily enough, they were rather quiet in the second half.

I think the difference today was, we were going for the win right until the final whistle, Leeds were ready to settle for a point at 75 minutes.

Absolutely.

When I do that I just get an error saying;
I just keep getting the same message as the one I mentioned in my last post;

Well I think the best option would be to wait for DavieG to record the Big League Weekend highlights or something - Presuming he will be doing that - I know he has uploaded the highlights from Sky Sports News and there are fans videos already posted on Youtube, because I really don't have a clue.

Oh my.

Special.

When we got the corner me and Tommeh said to each other, if we score here it is going to be carnage and it ****ing was. Never seen so many people flying over rows in L1. Was just an utter mess.

Thought the game had everything and was enjoyable whilst at the same time nerveracking.

Southend. :D

What a great game.

I love Steve.

Both teams played very well, it was a good game of football. Leeds fans weren't as good as I thought they would be.

Also Becchio is a twat.

Im thinking of uploading a 10 minute Highlight of the match.

Shall I do this or just upload the goal?

Upload the goal and the aftermath :D

Isn't that partly the aim, to annoy and/or drown out the opposition?

The Leeds fans were very good, I agree.

And great to have no bad chants from either side, and no trouble outside the ground (the Leeds fans seemed to take defeat quite well).

Video is not easy. However...

1. Download this: http://www.ffmpeg.org/

It runs on Windows or linux. It takes a bit of learning to figure out, because it works best from a command line, not a windows-style interface, but it's awesome powerful. Use it to convert the material you've got into a divX or similar format.

2. Then convert that into a torrent file

Following the guide previously linked to in this thread.

3. Host the torrent with suitable software

It's weird I think the nerveracking part for me add excitement and I dunno doesn't make it more enjoying but in a weird way it does, Basically what i'm saying is here a Leicester we never do things the easy way, but if we did do it the easy way it'd wouldn't be half as enjoyable and exciting as it is.

I loved that.

Howard, Dyer, Pearson -

Leicester City Football Club -

All the love I have lost - but kept going to games of the last few shitty year is coming back, It's nice to be loud and proud of Leicester again, "Its only League One" some people would and have been saying but who gives a fook!

Sounded loud to me, and just out of curiosity, how we're they annoying? Load constant singing or something else, because I'm pretty sure thats how a crowd should be.

To be fair, the Leeds fans were excellent today...even at the final whistle just after seeing a 92nd minute winner fly past they were loud.

No matter though, deserved victory...Outfought them all over the park and played the better football overall. Thought Leeds were anaemic save for a 5 minute spell before half time and for 5 minutes after Robinson came on.
