DJ Barry Hammond Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I'm being purely subjective here and as I've said, fair play to the Leeds fans for singing their hearts out, people nearer to them said they were really, really loud. For me, I'd rather hear some diversity than the same chant over and over and over again. If they thought it'd distract us, I think they missed the point. Repetition kills it for me, to be honest and it's signs of a lack of creativity. But then again, Leeds fans and being creative... Got to be careful here - in the first game the left side right side chant was used quite a bit. Support is support. They did add in a chant about Yorkshire, and there may be many things not to like about that part of the country, but their puddings isn't one - just had a couple with my lamb dinner - SUPERB!
jackie145 Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009    the leeds fans sang well in the first half but you dont get three points for singing !
Simi Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 At the end, when Steve was near the half way line, was it the ref he was giving stick too, or a leeds player? Think he was like aggresivley pointing at Pearson, probably saying, "Who da man?!".
fantastic_mr_fox Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 They really a bunch of tin-pot no-marks these leeds fans all they go on about is "how loud" they were - even when we were celebrating our goal they were louder apparantly - were they fck! anyway if all they get excited about is how loud they were then they deserve tin pot league one status - we concentrate on going up.
jonw88 Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I just love watching Pearson when the goal went in, he headed the air himself in anticipation and then went crazy hugging everyone when it went in. Top bloke, best manager for a loooooong while. hope he takes us far and is given the chance to.

Craig Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 But we were far louder as a home crowd today than they were on boxing day
fantastic_mr_fox Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 they were louder than us consistently throughout the whole game. by a long way. so what?? we won! and away fans generally are louder at away matches than the home fans
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Daggers - get off the WACCOE and back on here! Biased Sky Coverage - to be fair there was only one side everyone came to see! (Nice to see you quietly stiring it up, posing as a man from Brum though! )
Big Ol' Bob Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I had the misfortune of being at the leicester forest east services at the same time as their c***s of fans today. Sad acts actually set up a stall selling leeds stuff outside. They are just one big joke.

mb2251 Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 The video is now availible in High Quality. It makes a hell of a difference (click where it says HQ) Thanks for uploading that, seeing Pearson 'head' the ball into the back of the net - great stuff! Was there this afternoon - the most crazy celebration I have done for a goal in ages, thought we fully deserved the win.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Just been on WACCOE (I know i shouldnt, me and wanting to start WW3) But they cant complain about the game, so they are complaining about our support... and how we are 'embarrasing' for only getting 27k, and how proud they are to be leeds fans... and how wonderful their fans are. Yeah, Newcastle have 'wonderful' fans... dont make their team any good
Father Ted Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 A couple of questions regarding WACCOE. I've tried registering but it said that some code didn't match which I assume is one of those fill-in things but it hasn't appeared on my screen. Anyone else trying to join WACCOE having this problem??
