lcfc_jme Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Leeds fans are loud as **** in the stands, but out of them they aren't half bitter, deluded, arrogant, backwards c*nts with a superiority complex which is, again, ultimately costing them the success they so crave. From what it looked like today, we battered them. They were wank going forward, weren't worried at all by them until Robinson came on - he looked lively. Only threatening thing they had were set-pieces, but they couldn't make any count. Their so-called "beautiful attacking football" and "great passing game" was nowhere to be seen, we dealt with most things at the back comfortably. Controlled the game, and were it not for them being beast-like at centre-half, they'd have been blown away today. MAGIC ending with Big Steve getting up and netting a 92nd minute winner. All aboard the Title train at Sarfend!!!
J.Lisemore Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Our support was great today for the most part !!! just a shame about the attendance, though it was a dam sight better than Birminghams which was down right embarrassing! Something like 19,000? now that really is pathetic.
MC Prussian Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Leeds fans, if all you care about is how you outsung us at the Walkers, fine: LEEDS FANS, YOU OUTSUNG US AT THE WALKERS FOR AN ASTONISHING 25 MINUTES*!!! *with a very repetitious and boring chant, I might add I'm just about to come right now. Btw, you lost the game 1-0.
Tommeh Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 FOOOOOOKING YESSSSSSSSSS. That was sheer magic. Btw Leeds if your looking for Fabien Delph I belive he's still nicely tucked up in Andy Kings pocket. OH STEVE!
Sods Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 1-0. Howard. LEEDS FANS, yes your great vocally and turn out in great numbers, but I would support my team or any others in this league over your racist lot. Will you be more intrested in the atmosphere in the play off final or the result.
lildave3 Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Yeah I still have a huge grin on my face. 15 months of backing Steve Howard - he couldn't repay the faith in any better way
Cobbo Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Yeah I still have a huge grin on my face.15 months of backing Steve Howard - he couldn't repay the faith in any better way BAM!
MC Prussian Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 We just won another game that's put us really close to automatic promotion. Leeds just lost their cup final. Football can be so easy sometimes. No wonder Leeds fans are a bitter and jealous bunch these days.
Daggers Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Grayson's being a tosser, not like him but ok. Ferguson was the same when peterborough lost to us. BTW was your 'kop' the stand at the opposite end from us? where everyone was sat down and nobody sang? And I accept we're a shite team at the moment, but i think we're moving in the right direction and will be promoted this year. Only two things annoy me about you lot, who seem, I must say, to be a very decent & pleasant bunch. 1)You were outsung by a group of fans you outnumbered 8-1 at home, but are trying to deny this 2)A few of you like to tar us all as racist thugs, which only proves you've never actually met us. You complain about some of our lot being bad, but your prejudicial attitudes are even worse! *yawn* You lost - deal with it.

You complain about some of our lot being bad, but your prejudicial attitudes are even worse! 1) You were louder, you were away. I can accept that, congratulations. Shame about yiour support earlier in the season when you were on your players backs week in, week out at ER. 2) Reputations take a lifetime to build and can be destroyed in a moment, Leeds as the "collective" have wayy too many moments. The reality is we generally don't like Leeds as you seem to think you have a God given right to be successful in this league when in reality you're around the 5th-8th best team at this time as you've proved all season. It's testament to the way Pearson and his players have approached this league, very much like we have as fans, in a respectful manner, never counting our chickens. The same can't be said for Leeds and I'm a great believer that to move forward you need to actually see where you are now, so unfortunately for you, enjoy Bury next season. Also you think everyone sees you as their "cup final". Honestly...no one does, we've seen much bigger teams in much bigger matches and to be honest we really couldn't care less...It's just funny to be honest that you're so MASSIVE and yet you have players like Andy Hughes and co in your side. xxxxxx
martyn Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Who cares who outsung who...we've established in previous weeks that Leicester also have a vociferous away backing...what does it matter? 1-0 Howard: matters.
lcfc_jme Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I don't think it's any secret Leeds have quality away support and we're pretty silent at home. They outsung us, tremendous, well played. But at the end of the day, we outplayed them and came away with 3 points. They can no longer catch us and we're practically promoted. I know which I'd prefer..
BoneDog Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Robinson - we should buy. They don't need him next season in the Third Division. Yes! That guy was frickin class when he came on. Really gets things movin, would be a great asset
DeclanMC Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Is it bad that I've watched the goal about 50 times now?
Fox You Forest Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Is it bad that I've watched the goal about 50 times now? I'm still watching also.
Blanesta Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Yes i agree that Robinson played well, think he was possibly their only player that could feature in a squad of are caliber! and maybe that delph boy! he can be a stand in for when the rampant dyers on international duty haha 1 more win!!!!!!
BoneDog Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I wanna go to bed but I can't cos I lovin this feelin. Steve Howard started the buzz and it aint stopped for 11 hours or whatever it is. Today is one of them days you don't want to stop. I'm havin my solo party for another couple hours yet :scarf: As Emlyn Hughes used to say "Yes ya f.ucker"
C-man Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 I enjoyed the Leeds support, very rarely quiet, and when they sung, they ALL sung and fuck me they were loud. But meh, we were louder than them at ER, they were always going to give it some today. Great game, real advert for the Championship nevermind League 1. Leeds played well and were strong defensively, but our grit, determination, and above all, ability throughout the side pulled us through. What a celebration. Left my jacket in the ground. I couldn't think of anything but what Steve had just done so I forgot to pick it up! Not too fussed about ****** winning today, sets it up perfectly for Saturday.
carterfox90 Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 what a great day still buzzing now have watched the goal about 20 times awesome stevie boy i sit in the kop & i can assure you all we were singing our hearts out today & could hardly hear the leeds scum would have thought l1 would have out sung them easy
Brainy Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 wiki Leicester City On July 1, 2008 Lloyd joined Leicester City on a three-year contract, becoming manager Nigel Pearson's second signing after Michael Morrison.[18] He made his debut on the opening day of the 2008–09 season in a 2–0 win over his former club Milton Keynes Dons on August 9.[19][20] He scored his first two goals for Leicester in a 4-0 win over Cheltenham Town on 30 August.[21] On April 13th Dyer put in a Rivaldo'esque performance as he helped Leicester City to a 1-0 win over Leeds United. Leicester City Howard playing for Leicester Initially signing on loan on a three-and-a-half year contract,[5] Howard made his debut in a 3-1 away defeat to Queens Park Rangers on 1 January.[6] He scored his first goal in an M69 Derby on January 12, in which Leicester won 2-0,[7] and also managed a hat-trick in a 4-1 away win over West Brom on 15 March.[8] Despite regaining his form by scoring six goals however, Howard could not prevent Leicester from being relegated at the end of the season. Howard, often compared to the Czech Republic legend Jan Koller, was able to maintain his form the following season. Partnering teammate Matty Fryatt in attack, he scored 13 league goals and contributed numerous assists to help Leicester maintain their lead at the top of League One.[9]
Finnegan Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 RE: Racism. I can only remember two clubs being overly racist since I've been living in Leicester. I remember way back at Filbert Street I think it was Birmingham singing "You're the pride of Pakistan" (I'm sure this was later countered with 'One-nil, to the Pakistan' or something similar.) Other than that it's Leeds. Every, single time. "Town full of P***s" without fail - today was the first time I can remember them not doing it at all. And we're constantly told that Leeds and racism haven't been hand in hand "for years" yet they're all happy to turn and sing the songs?
Koke Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Immense. Epic. Astonishing. Steve Howard is my sex toy. I'm glad we beat those ****ers and we are now done and dusted with them. I hope they fail miserably in the play-offs and spend another year in this shithole of a league. Just another game that we had to win, and so we did.

Raj Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Good game. Leeds fans made noise. They had some good players. We Won. Who gives a fcuk about the rest? And i got a kiss on the cheek from Leese (Sorry Carl )
Raj Posted 14 April 2009 Posted 14 April 2009 Those celebrations in the stands looked amazing from what i just saw on SSN Its always great when you get to hug random blokes without getting twatted. I love being gay!!! You can also 'accidentally' thump people in the face and get kisses from ladies!!! That was unbelievable. So good to see all the effort being rewarded at the death. Enjoyed Gradel's equaliser at MK Dons more than any goal in ages, but this was different class. Every player contributed to the win.Someone may tell me otherwise, but I thought the Leeds fans behaved themselves pretty well (compared to previous visits anyway), and concentrated on backing their team, who contributed fully to a great game. It's days like this that you forget the times when they've let you down Leeds concentrated on supporting their team rather than being racist, for a change. No matter what they sang it was non stop and was a credit to them. Good support. BUt we still pissed 'em!!!
