Tilley Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 We have to wait another week but oh well, takes nothing off today, was amazing. Millwall win tonight & we can wrap up the title & promotion next Sat. We beat scummy Leeds 1-0 in the 92nd minute... :D
Samilktray Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 I might ring his show in the morning and start singing super steve down the phone! Im sure you will.
Asha Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 So, we need one point from 3 games yes? Or for MK to not win one of theirs.
Legend_in_blue Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 The finish to the game was up there with the best of 'em. I'm thinking Hillsborough away Carling Cup replay vs Middlesbrough. Absolutely insane finish. Loved it. Went absolutely mad. Just about got my voice back now.
Milky Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 So, we need one point from 3 games yes? No. We probably need 2. Dons goal difference is only 6 behind ours, so if they were to go winning a few and we didn't etc...
Matt Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 So, we need one point from 3 games yes? Think so that how I see it. We're on 89 points, MK Dons can get a maximum of 90 - That's 1 point. Obviously we need more than one point to be champions - Well not necessarily but likely. Although it can't be many more i'm sure I read someone saying IF Peterborough lose tonight and we win on Saturday we are officially promoted AND win the league.

Dons are only six behind on the goal difference though. 1 point probably wouldn't be enough if they won all four games.
Gaffer Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Afternoon fellas. The wait to be registered on here is like trying to get round Wayne Brown!Leeds fan here. Seems you haven't had the best impression of our lot so far so let me add my thoughts. Have watched your progress all season and think you deserve to go up as champions. Looked by far the most consistent team - you've clearly had a game plan which was obvious today and it's worked - couple of pacey wingers, target man upfront, diagonal direct balls and nice and solid down the centre. The amount of clean sheets you've had are testament to a good defence. Not the prettiest but bloody effective - was obvious in the first twenty minutes why you've beaten most teams in this league. We were favourites at the start of the season but to be honest I never expected us to win the league (we don't like things the easy way at Elland Road ) - thought you kept enough players from the championship and did well in the loan market to walk it. We've looked a different team since Grayson came in but unfortunately it's always looked too little two late for the autos. As for us, despite Tranmere and Scunny winning (looking over our shoulders now!) I think we'll do ok in the playoffs. Couple of solid lads at the back (a novelty after the first 6 months of the season) and plenty of options in the final 3rd (don't think you've seen the best of Delph in the two games but he's a top prospect) - yes we did miss Jermaine but no excuse! Was only ever worried about Peterborough in playoffs (good front 3) but looks like they'll be second, so hopefully we'll be joining you in the Championship next year. I know alot of our fans but us easy to hate but its all part of football I say - wouldn't be half the laugh without the banter Good luck, enjoy your promotion, might see you next year Are you sure your a leeds fan? Really? Honestly? Fair Play to ya mate City Fans Celebrating after today's game! God West Stand support is shit xD Fair play to all who turned up at the way today, was fantastic

Surprised at the lower than expected attendance, 25,507, well i suppose thats what a morning kick off and a live Sky game does for you!
haraven Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Yup, 27027 something I think was the final attendance from what I could read on Sky Sports! Thanks to all Leicester supporters showing our support in a local pub today here in Oslo - Norway, Vålerenga and Norfox74 especially.
BlueSi13 Posted 13 April 2009 Posted 13 April 2009 Though they announced it as 27k.. So did i, but the official website says it was 25k?
