purpleronnie Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 I'm sure if you won the lottery you would still say something negative about it. Enjoy your swimming. Not sure why you bothered watching the game if you knew it was gonna a be bore fest as you keep banging on about, yawn. Negative when somethings negative positive when somethings positive, called a balanced opinion. Talk about predictable.
Darkzzz_ Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Wasn't a great game at all, but I have seen worse. Felt sorry for Everton, really hoped they could win it but they just lacked the quality that Chelsea have in their side. Some of the Chelsea faces in the crowd looked as though they had witnessed a chess cup final than a F.A cup final, they looked that bored. Malouda was robbed of a wonder strike too and I like Lampard's celebration tribute to his old man. Nice touch.
Samilktray Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Glad Chelsea won, Everton are beyond bland. One thing that strikes me is the lack of praise that Anelka recieves considering he top scored over here this season, big fan of him.
purpleronnie Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 It's Like Shooting Fish in a Barrel. I know I shouldn't laugh, but its hard not to. Thanks.

dandannieldanok Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Was a decent final imo. Chelsea always seemed to have a pretty strong grip on the game, a deserved win. Pleased for Frank to get the winner.
surrifox Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 well done everton -achieved the virtually impossible in making me want chelscum to win it- boring , predictable , formulaic football . No class whatsoever- hope to see you in the final again- make it sometime around 2100
Koke Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Everton may not be Harlem Globetrotters but the myth that they are a boring negative team is a load of fucking bollocks.
purpleronnie Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Everton may not be Harlem Globetrotters but the myth that they are a boring negative team is a load of fucking bollocks. Yeah, it was like watching brazil.
Finnegan Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Everton aren't a boring side at all, it's not even a myth it's just a complete untruth. Are people really having a dig just because a team with a relative shoestring budget, with plenty of injury absentees, didn't play all-out-attack football against Chelsea and Manchester United!? I find Everton consistently entertaining, they often play some brilliant football through a very skilled midfield when everyone's fit and available. Some people on here are fucking retarded when it comes to football, I swear.
Koke Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Yeah, it was like watching brazil. You telling me Cahill, Pienaar, Osman, Arteta, Saha, Fellaini et al. are all boring predicable robotic formulaic players? I'm not saying they play sexual football, but people are making them out to be a mixture of Stoke and Bolton.

I dont mind Everton in all honesty, there not that entertaining to me but I dont dislike them.
Bert Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 I think if Everton had the 3 key players they were missing due to long term injuries, today may have been a different story. It was good they scored first, because it made Chelsea realise that the game wasn't already theirs.
Finnegan Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 £15 million on 1 player isnt really a shoestring budget I dont think...I dont mind Everton in all honesty, there not that entertaining to me but I dont dislike them. The word "relative" was in there for a reason. Besides, Fellaini might have come in for a lot but it's not like all of Moyes' purchases were of about the same value. Fellaini took up a majority share of his budget. The big four have the resources to bring in four or five players of similar cost per season.

Brainy Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 Any chance Susan Boyle will sing the national anthem next year?
Darkzzz_ Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 Any chance Susan Boyle will sing the national anthem next year? Maybe, if I don't murder her before then.
C-man Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 Personally, I enjoyed it more than I enjoyed the Champions League final.
AmericanScott Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink was certainly a happy man after the FA Cup victory over Everton on Saturday - and who could blame him? After the game, the Dutchman was photographed in the Blues dressing room puffing a large cigar as well as dancing with club owner Roman Abramovich. "Roman was there and he danced with us as well. But, no, he didn't breakdance," said Hiddink. (Various) Hiddink is an absolute legend. I can just imagine him dancing around puffing on a magical dutchie.

I hope he come back to the Premier League at some point. What a top manager and a top guy.
Corky Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 Everton missed Arteta's skill. They have the nucleus of a squad that will be around the top 6 for a few years and challenging for trophies.
lcfc_jme Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 I love Fellaini. He's a beautiful man and a sexual footballer. And he has mesmeric hair. £15million is a small price tag. Awesome.
