GLC Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Has anyone seen what they're saying on SSN, We wont get relegated because we have a massive fan base and the best one is we wont get relegated becuase we are newcastle united
Matt Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Exactly why most people dislike and want them relegated.
Tilley Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 I really hope they stay up. I'd Kevin Keegan love it if they do. Just can't see it happening. This weekend, 'Boro have Man Utd at home, Sunderland have Everton at home, Hull are away at Villa & Newcastle are away at Liverpool. Although Liverpool have dropped points at home against the "lesser" teams this year, in their current form, Newcastle are going to have to be very very good to even come away with a point from Anfield. The week after Sunderland have Bolton away with Hull hosting Stoke at the KC, Newcastle are at home to 'Boro on the Monday night which depending on results over the two weekends could be win or bust & possible even relegate them. If they can get something out the Liverpool, Boro & Fulham games, hope Hull drop points & take it to the last day, then play out their skin at Villa on the last day. Hull have Manchester United on the last day. TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON
Bert Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Fuck that Tilley. I wanna go Newcastle next year. Can see them losing on Saturday, drawing with Boro, beating Fulham then losing to Villa on the last day.
Babylon Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Hull will go down, within touching distance now. It's between Newcastle and Boro who overtake them.
Munzie Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Exactly why most people dislike and want them relegated. Some of their fans really could do with a reality check.
deepbluedevil Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 its the fans fault if they hadn't hounded allardyce out they would have been safe mid table two years running
Fosse Boy Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 its the fans faultif they hadn't hounded allardyce out they would have been safe mid table two years running But even that wouldn't have been good enough for them. They are MASSIVE remember?
Tilley Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Allardyce - The only manager to lose to Derby in league last season. Fail. That said, on points per game ratio, Blackburn would be 10th if he had been there all season.
Guest Bilo Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 For purely selfish reasons, I want them to go down because a trip to St. James seems a damn sight more attractive than a trip to the KC. Their decline has been slowburning but inevitable. I can see them getting into huge financial difficulties if they go down and stay down though, worse even than Leeds.
lou Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 I want them to go down coz I hate them! We had a good crack last time we went to the KC, some tart in a white coat was giving it large and the lads gave her a lot of stick.. was hilarious! Plus the away seats at St James Park are way too feckin high up for my liking.... doesnt do the vertigo any good
Tilley Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Programme your Sat Navs' to WBA, 'Boro & Hull. My boys will come good.
Guest Bilo Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Programme your Sat Navs' to WBA, 'Boro & Hull.My boys will come good. Hawthorns. Yes, will be good nice and local. Reasonable crowds and the hope that Super Stevie will recreate his exploits. Riverside. Poor attendances in the Prem will get worse in the CCC, doesn't bode well for atmosphere. Not so keen. KC Stadium. OK trip, but not much different to most other Championship grounds. Prefer Newcastle.
Darkzzz_ Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 I don't hate Newcastle at all, I wouldn't mind going their next season though. It would be a good day out. Well, I hope it is a day rather than a cold cold night on Tyneside.
Koke Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Not too bothered if they go down or not really. Been to St James Park many times before and it's meh...
ousefox Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 For purely selfish reasons, I want them to go down because a trip to St. James seems a damn sight more attractive than a trip to the KC. Yeah i would love a trip to St James next season. Do you reckon Ashley will stay if they do?
dandannieldanok Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 its the fans faultif they hadn't hounded allardyce out they would have been safe mid table two years running Could say the same about Leicester fans hounding Micky Adams out when we were top half of the championship.
Samilktray Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 There fans on SSN I just find Newcastle hella boring.
David Guiza Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 I want them to come down but i can see them getting some jammy points and Hull go down <_<
dandannieldanok Posted 28 April 2009 Posted 28 April 2009 Would love Middlesborough to stay up at the expense of Newcastle and Hull. I really don't like Alan Shearer and Phil Brown, especially in comparison to Gareth Southgate. Shearer having Dowie as assistant makes him even more dislikable.
J.Lisemore Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Don't mind Newcastle, but a trip to St. James' would be amazing. WBA, Boro and Newcastle to go down i think. I can see Hull getting away with it.
lcfc_jme Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Meh I've not read this thread and I'd liove Newcastle to get relegated #cos tbhey're shit and their fans are fck9nng del8uded moronic c*nts. The sooner they come down and struggle the better for the entire football world. Same with Boero.
