Walshy5 Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Am I the only one? I still think kisnorbo is worth a new deal. When fully fit he,s a very good defender in the championship and was part of one of the best defences in the championship last season despite us being relegated.
J.Lisemore Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 We seem to do better when hes not in the team. Time to move on...
lifted*fox Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 The two time periods that he's been present in the team this season, we've had a poor run. Alright, there were other factors as well, i'm sure... but still... not interested really.
J.Lisemore Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Could always give him a go in centre midfield I don't think i could bare to watch this again...
Jimmy Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 he's shit, its easy to have the best defensive record when you start with an average of 6 defenders in your side lets not forget McAuley was part of that defence too and Ipswich fans hate him
Scow Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 I don't think i could bare to watch this again... How could you miss those comical 30 yard cross field balls that go out of play with no fellow player in sight? Well, at least it wasn't going to Momo Sylla.
RowlattsFox Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 I've stuck up for Kisnorbo, but with the options we have I think its right to let him go. Hobbs and Tunchev our better, Brown and Kisnorbo are similar players, and Morrison is a good prospect. I think Kisnorbo will be a solid signing for a Championship side, someone like Crystal Palace I can see him at.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Tunchev. Hobbs. Brown. Morrison. I feel a bit sorry for the bloke but it's over for him here. I wish him every success elsewhere.
Fatbloke Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 PK was one of, if not THE best centre half in the Championship and was strongly fancied for a Premiership move, however this season his appearences have coincided with us leaking goals and he quite simply was nowhere near his best, it is better for him and us that he moves on, a change of clubs will hopefully revive his career and I thank him for all his efforts and wish him all the best.
Ozwin Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 lets not forget McAuley was part of that defence too and Ipswich fans hate him Do they?! He's their captain isn't he?

Jimmy Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Do they?! He's their captain isn't he? since when do fans pick the captain? they are forever criticizing him in match threads on other forums I use
Ultra Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 Tunchev. Hobbs. Brown. Morrison.I feel a bit sorry for the bloke but it's over for him here. I wish him every success elsewhere. This.
Bert Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 since when do fans pick the captain? they are forever criticizing him in match threads on other forums I use Where did he ever indicate that their fans pick the captain? We all know McCauley's big problem is pace.
Pete_foxes Posted 29 April 2009 Posted 29 April 2009 I did rate Kisnorbo as a defender, just his distribution was one of the poorest i've known. His heart is clearly not in it now, its a shame in a sence for his city career to just fizzle out like this, but it is probably in both parties best interest to go seperate ways. Wish him all the best, would be a steal on a free for a championship side looking for a centre back for sure.
Southern Fox Posted 30 April 2009 Posted 30 April 2009 Kisnorbo is quality and should have been worthy of a new deal. As an ST - seeing many game -he would win 99% of his headers regardless of opposition he was up against. He was one of the main reasons we so nearly avoided relations as up front and in midfield that season we were dog-shit. Yet he has had a difficult season with injuries and we probably wouldnt see a proper fully fit Paddy K until he has a full pre-season under his belt The signings of Hobbs and Brown indicate that Pearson is happy with the lads that have come in and covered him in his absence and sadly there only seems one option now and thats for him to move on. But he was a great servant to the club. Ok his distribution was poor, but strong in the air and was always charging shots and last ditch interventions. Just cos we have had a good season against lesser opposition should we forget how capable Paddy K is at the level above League One. I genuinely thought he always gave 100% to Leicester when he played and wish him all the best should he move on and mirror the thoughts of another poster - that he will be a right steal for a Championship club on a free. Scores goals at set pieces too.

I am sorry to hear that he caused you to avoid relations. Did he steal your woman? For that reason alone he should be released as soon as possible.
Southern Fox Posted 30 April 2009 Posted 30 April 2009 Nah just an older poster who fort i would defend a player that has done well for us since reverting to CB He excelled in that season we were relegated in a struggling/ poor team and just fort ppl should remember that

He was a very solid defender last year and weighed in with some crucial goals. However, defending his fort is taking it too far.
billyfox1 Posted 30 April 2009 Posted 30 April 2009 I do like the player but in the four years he's been here he's only had one good season. Time to move on unless he fancies another season on the bench
