Can't understand why he didn't just tackle properly at the end instead of just going in with his shoulder?! I think he'd have made it comfortably.

We've done it so many times it's unbelievable. No bottle.

We believed we could beat England and Ireland in the six nations with such conviction that we didn't turn up, it was bordering arrogance.

Against the southern hemisphere sides it's the opposite problem. We just don't think we can win. I'm beginning to doubt Gatland's ability to reverse this trend.

Fair to say. What a fvcking awful group for us both.

It's ridiculously nasty. It's going to come down to whoever can sneak the most bonus points in here and there and who can keep Toulon down at home.

I'm still smarting from having it all in our own hands last year and then fvcking it up at home against you guys, giving us the toughest QF possible rather than a home tie against Sarries. We just seem to get in our own way in Europe.

Last year was definitely our best chance and where we peaked. If it wasn't 14 v 16 against Sarries then home semi final then who knows how far we could have gone.

This year we are back to being shit, we wont trouble you or the rest unfortunately.

Why can't you play for England if you play for a foreign club?

You are eligible to be picked but the RFU wants to keep players at English clubs to maintain the strength of the league so has a policy of not picking anyone playing abroad. The FA might as well have the same policy since no foreign clubs are interested in "top" England players [emoji4]

Evening chaps,

Huge rugby fixture coming up in Coventry, which has now sold out.

Not been to a Wasps fixture yet, and am not planning to do so any time soon.

Any Tigers supporters on here going?

I can remember whenb Coventry v Tigers was a game to look forward to the rugby calendar. RU is turning into American Football :(

Work with several Tigers fans, (and one Wosp)! Think they're all going.....

How do you feel about having them there?? They reckon they're not a threat to CCFC with regard to the Ricoh. If I were a Sky Blues fan though, I think I'd be a little worried to say the least. Reading between the lines of what Wasps are saying, it appears that they intend Coventry to be firstly a RUGBY city....Having said that though, I very much doubt, despite comments from 'Franchise RFC', that the ORIGINAL Coventry RFC will ever be allowed to develop into any kind of threat!

Its gutting having them there. They have announced this week that they expect to become the richest rugby club in Europe over the next year, all thanks to the profits from the Ricoh. Since they have took over the place, it has become an even more depressing place to watch football. Wasps' branding is slowly creeping up across the place and it won't be long before the seats are changed.

It's sad because the stadium could have earned the football club stupid sums of money had we owned it.

As well as that, they seem to attract out supporters. 18,000 were there for a televised fixture on Sunday, whereas there was only 14,000 at the football at reduced prices.

Sad isn't it. Cov are a decent rugby club, with big potential (like CCFC!) but unfortunately the Wasps have wiped out any possible future for the club.

Exactly what my dad says.

Also unfair on other local rugby clubs, like Northampton and Leicester, because there are(or at least were) a big Tigers and Saints fan bases in Coventry who have started following the Wasps.

Giving this thread a bump to recognise Leicester Tigers doing what very few sides have done - going to Munster and turning them over.

It's good to see they're making a good fist of Europe this year as too often they flatter to deceive - winning the league (or getting to the final) every year then falling flat in Europe when they could do much better. Hopefully this year will be different - with the way their group is right now they've got to be looking at topping it and getting a home QF.

Good win for Leicester alright but the Irish provinces aren't the force they once were. Ulster beating Toulouse was a good result however Toulouse arent the force they once were either!
