Finnegan Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 Chucked away a pretty big lead, all things considered, and a numerical advantage. That's got to hurt. Commiserations, Tigers fans.
Nick Posted 18 May 2014 Posted 18 May 2014 I thought the most attacking side won - we played with limited intensity going forward in the second half - kicking the ball and not chasing it, just giving away possession and waiting for the next onslaught of pressure. We didn't deserve to win. I'd quite like to see Northampton beat the Saracens now but it'll take some doing.
katieakita Posted 18 May 2014 Posted 18 May 2014 Best team won, the injuries and even the lack of recovery time for the players who did play finally caught up with the Tigers. To still come so close without their A game shows the spirit at the Tigers. Wish Saints well but cannot see them coming close to Sarries who have been the best team this year by a country mile.
Fox in the North Posted 7 June 2014 Posted 7 June 2014 Unlucky England! Great effort from them. Unlucky England! Great effort from them.

Beating Leicester gave them the belief. Saracens was an easier win for them in the end.

Fair play to Saints and hats off to them, Saracens looked jaded after the defeat in the HC final and Saints really took it to them, so we will se how they go next year. Tigers must be really pleased with their recruitment for next season with Freddie Burns having his best game for a couple of years now he has signed for us.
leicsmac Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Toulon, Ulster, Scarlets. Is it actually possible for us to get an easy group in the European Cup ever or do TPTB just hate us?
Finnegan Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 **** sakes. You think you have it bad? Try being a Scarlets fan.
Bert Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 **** sakes. You think you have it bad? Try being a Scarlets fan. You wouldn't have to support them if you didn't pretend to be Welsh!
Tielemans63 Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Toulon, Ulster, Scarlets. Is it actually possible for us to get an easy group in the European Cup ever or do TPTB just hate us? Made me laugh that Sky Sports headline is 'Saints, Sarries face tough task.' Tigers' group is ridiculously tough, as it seems to be every single season like you say.
Nalis Posted 10 June 2014 Posted 10 June 2014 Toulon, Ulster, Scarlets. Is it actually possible for us to get an easy group in the European Cup ever or do TPTB just hate us? I'm an Ulster man and reckon its too close to call for 2nd between us and you guys, but what a tough group esp. when you compare it to the likes of the Glasgow Warriors pool.

leicsmac Posted 11 June 2014 Posted 11 June 2014 **** sakes. You think you have it bad? Try being a Scarlets fan. Fair to say. What a fvcking awful group for us both. I'm an Ulster man and reckon its too close to call for 2nd between us and you guys, but what a tough group esp. when you compare it to the likes of the Glasgow Warriors pool. It's ridiculously nasty. It's going to come down to whoever can sneak the most bonus points in here and there and who can keep Toulon down at home. I'm still smarting from having it all in our own hands last year and then fvcking it up at home against you guys, giving us the toughest QF possible rather than a home tie against Sarries. We just seem to get in our own way in Europe.
Fox in the North Posted 14 June 2014 Posted 14 June 2014 This England team is giving it a cracking go!! Come on lads!
Bert Posted 14 June 2014 Posted 14 June 2014 Should've took the chances when we were on top first half. All Blacks have been phenomenal since the 30th minute.
Finnegan Posted 14 June 2014 Posted 14 June 2014 Pretty respectable score, all things considered, fair play. Scarily good NZ team in broken field. Bit leaky, though.
act smiley Posted 15 June 2014 Posted 15 June 2014 So I saw the Canada - Scotland game and the Canadians were absolutely robbed.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Australia v France was one for the ages on the weekend
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 I don't think Tigers group is easy. Toulon, Ulster. Someone's pulling my pisser!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 19 June 2014 Posted 19 June 2014 I think England could nick it on Saturday. Let's hope so.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 21 June 2014 Posted 21 June 2014 Big Will Skelton that is all that needs to be said
