I was in the seconds the year before but in goal and now I wanted to play on pitch. Set up my own team full of misfits - including Pegleg, the lad with more metal in him than there is a car. First game we were playing my mates from another form. Wild predictions of double figures to nil. We played well and kept it to 4-0. When after a deflection against the wall, it came towards me who flicked past the onrushing goalie to much delirium in the crowd. Que a pitch invasion with me doing a Ronny Radford. That was brill! Final whistle went and it was like a victory. They felt like they lost. Second game was called off at 1-1. As I nearly got sent off with another lad and we were being pelted by coins from the fans. The teacher/ref couldn't hack it so. Called off for the competition to never finish. and also back at school when we did a 6-a-side cricket team, it was 'Willy Wonka and Godzilla County Cricket Club'. Comedy when the head of year had to read the fixtures out I went a bit off track here didn't I?

I expected you to bust out a flask at any moment! I went to Sheff with C-Man and duly got absolutely rat arsed. I believe i held my own with the freshers, however i did start drinking 8 hours before all of them.
