The 23-year-old spent two months with the Foxes at the back end of last season as the side secured the points to make an immediate return to the Championship as League One champions. And Pearson is thought to be looking at taking Stockdale back to the Walkers Stadium for the new season in the second tier of English football. While Pearson would have to persuade Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson to allow him to take Stockdale, the former Darlington custodian would be keen on a return. He said: "It would be a nice option and I would be back in a shot. I've always said Marlon Harewood looks like the Goomba from the Bob hoskins Mario films and no one's ever listened I had to start bringing it out for Stockdale because his head is also far too small for his body.
