Babylon Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Nottingham does has contact with a few people. I think his boss has something to do with City or agents, can't remember exactly.
Edmund Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Mentioned on TB..... What you lot reckon to that one? Link or has just been seen at Morrisons?
Guest Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Please.God.No. Happily, however, I believe Talking Balls is talking balls.
Cobbo Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Please.God.No.Happily, however, I believe Talking Balls is talking balls. Why so against this?
Guest Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 Why so against this? I just don't think he's up to it. He had that one good season at Cardiff then was found out after Keane wasted #5mil on him. Doesn't have real pace, no real ariel threat, not particularly skillful and I just don't see it. Maybe in League but now our loan to that division is over I can't see what he'd add to the squad. Saying that he would be better than Dickov.

Saying that he would be better than Dickov. And Fryatt.
Finnegan Posted 7 May 2009 Posted 7 May 2009 I don't think he's the best player in the world but anyone who thinks he'd be a bad signing for any Championship club is a fucking idiot. Seriously. He pretty much single handedly took Cardiff to the top of the league when he was there, it's no coincidence that their blip in form that season coincided with his own lapse / injury problems.
Granno Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Chopra's a proven championship striker, so it makes sense we at least take a look at him I guess. I'd be happy with this signing.
Shane Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 He'll easily hit 20 goals or more in the championship if he gets enough time on the field. Hes worth a look defo.
MPH Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 This would be an amazing signing. I would love this. if its true we are even interested in him then this is showing great vision that can only be commended. probably get him for only 500k more than one Cox would cost too...
The Blur Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Not sure Spell at Sunderland probably damage his mentality and he is not that good as he used to be when he came back to Cardiff on loan. He is more likely to sign for them or Ispwich than us
Ozwin Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 He'd be the signing of the season, if we somehow get him in I'll wet myself with excitement.
deepbluedevil Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 he'd be a great signing but i don't see it happening
MPH Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Chopra cant finish his dinner. everyone is entitled to a bad season... glad we didnt get rid of fryatt because of our previous season.
Jimmy Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 Chopra has agreed to go to Cardiff, although I don't know if anything was signed it was said at the time he re-joined them on loan
maddog Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 He has scored goals there but isn't he on drugs? We would have to pay him massive wages as well. Although he would definitely score more than 11 in 81 games.
Brainy Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 He has scored goals there but isn't he on drugs? we better not get him then.
maddog Posted 8 May 2009 Posted 8 May 2009 we better not get him then. http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/UK-News/M...200808415088663 gambling addiction Hes like Casino Jimmy then. I bet he's on drugs though too
