Koke Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 Reading this thread makes me laugh, people complained and even sung about our glory supporters when 30k turned up for the Scunny game yet mock other teams when they don't sell out. It just goes to show what a poor fan base the Blunts and especially Reading have. Reading I can understand though as they are not a big club.

Matt Posted 12 May 2009 Author Posted 12 May 2009 Balls missed from the what seems on the reaction on here 2 great goals, was playing on Fifa.
Koke Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 Webbo, I hope you don't mind having you in my sig. I'm still giggling at the reaction you gave and how you went so defensive.
Samilktray Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 Suuuuuuuupppppperrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Suuperrrrrr Jayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Joe. Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 Great result, pleased for Burnley. Hopefully they'll go onto win it now and keep cockface Blackwell's team down. Two absolutely cracking strikes to win it comfortably on the night, great stuff.

Filbert_Ross Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 why when the Burnley Keeper handled it outside the box and everyone said it wasnt deliberate, was a Free kick given? And if seen as a freekick as the ref gave it, why didnt he get sent off? to me I would say one or the other. no red card no freekick to me.
SystonFox Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 alot of burnley love in here, if they go up atleast thats two 1-0 defeats out of our way!!!

Jensen won the ball, then it ricocheted onto his hand. How many times have you seen someone handle it when not in the box and just a free kick given? Ref made the correct decision.
tartanowl Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 I'm pleased with that result. The Blunts have struggled against Burnley. Fuck off you Blunt bastards.Yet they had almost 9000 at Crystal Palace? What the fuck? Amazing isn't it? I suppose the Preston game at Deepdale was on Sky but not being able to sell such a small amount is pretty embarrassing What's with these tinpot clubs who can't even fill their ground for a semi final game? 19000 I think they man said on the tannoy. Pathetic.
Tommeh Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 Reading this thread makes me laugh, people complained and even sung about our glory supporters when 30k turned up for the Scunny game yet mock other teams when they don't sell out. I know, great isn't it?
Tevez Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 Brian Jensen has carried Burnley to the Play Off final. I hope he and Burnley win it.
Ultra Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 alot of burnley love in here, if they go up atleast thats two 1-0 defeats out of our way!!! We usually do OK at their place - only one defeat in the last eight trips there. But all the games with them at the Way have been gruesome. I'd be delighted to see them win at Wembley, if only to spite the vile Chris Morgan.
Maybes Posted 12 May 2009 Posted 12 May 2009 Some pleb of an ITV pundit on the highlights....I fancy Burnley if they score one Reading have to score three. No away goals rule...unless the twat was stating the obvious...highly doubt it.

lcfc_jme Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 For purely selfish reasons and for the night out next season, I want Burnley to win the playoff final and then get relegated. Sheff Yanited are my least-preferred of the two Sheffield clubs and it'll give me two Sheffield nights out next season if they lose. Huge.

Darkzzz_ Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Steve Coppell walks after this. It was obvious wasn't it. He done a wonderful job at Reading I really respect Coppell.
maddog Posted 13 May 2009 Posted 13 May 2009 Burnley finished in the bottom half of the Championship for the last 6 seasons. Now they find themselves in the playoff final. If they can do it, we can.

True, but they have been VERY fortunate with injuries this season, so have been able to get away with using a small squad. Credit to Owen Coyle though. He's been the Championship manager of the season, whatever the result at Wembley may be.
