Guest Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 We're going to have a few games moved to either a Friday or a Sunday next season. We're not allowed to play at home the same day as the Tigers. Hopefully Sky will intervene so that it's the Tiggers who have to move.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 As long as Plymouth and Boro are on a Tuesday, therefore not wasting a perfect Saturday, I will be happy. Knowing our luck we will get Blackpool at HOME in August, and the two fixtures mentioned above will be at home on a Tuesday, and they'll move Cov away to a Friday night again on SKY! <_< Peterboro away in September please when school has started
Guest Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 As long as Plymouth and Boro are on a Tuesday, therefore not wasting a perfect Saturday, I will be happy. I hope that these two games are on a Saturday, making it easier for those of us who can actually be bothered to go to these games.
C-man Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 I hope that these two games are on a Saturday, making it easier for those of us who can actually be bothered to go to these games. Exactly. I had to read his post once or twice to make sure I was reading it correctly.
Guest Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 Exactly. I had to read his post once or twice to make sure I was reading it correctly. Same here. Then people moan when we take only a few hundred to places like Hartlepool, Brighton or Yeovil.
C-man Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 Same here. Then people moan when we take only a few hundred to places like Hartlepool, Brighton or Yeovil. I don't moan, Hartlepool and Yeovil were two of my favourite awayers this season!

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 What I meant by my earlier post is that some of us are unable to get to evening games so that if the two I mentioned are on a Tuesday it means the chances of getting more local teams on a Saturday is higher. As i wont be going to Boro and Plymouth anyway(regardless of the day) if they are on a Tuesday it means there are more away games i can get to. e.g. if we had boro away on a Saturday and Cov away on a Tuesday, I cant get to both games while if it was the other way round I could get to at least one. Sorry if difficult to understand!
Corky Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 I don't moan, Hartlepool and Yeovil were two of my favourite awayers this season! It was very enjoyable

Head Honcho Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 Boardmasters in Newquay or first match of the season Just realised Plymouth away first game would be ideal. Boardmasters and Football. I know I'm chancing it but a sunday kick off would be even better!
lcfc_jme Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 I don't moan, Hartlepool and Yeovil were two of my favourite awayers this season! Yessssirrrrr!! It was because of me James, admit it! Personally, I hope we're at home first up. Because I'm seriously doubting that I'll be getting a ticket if we have a nice juicy awayer for the opener. Which will upset me no-end.
CosbehFox Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 I read that August Bank Holiday fixtures were returning this year. EDIT: Might be L1 and L2 thinking it through.
Guest Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 2009/10 Fixture DetailsChampionship Game 09 - Saturday 26th September Oh bugger.
Fox92 Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Not bothered really. Although I'd probably want a home game to (hopefully) get off on the right foot.
StanSP Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 Not bothered really.Although I'd probably want a home game to (hopefully) get off on the right foot. Didn't happen 2 seasons ago. Lost against Blackpool 1-0 at home expecting to get off on the right foot. Would love to get revenge on their turf.
Katy Posted 2 June 2009 Posted 2 June 2009 I'd prefer an away game first off but really not fussed, I shall endeavour to be there wherever we are.
Cobbo Posted 2 June 2009 Posted 2 June 2009 I want Posh - hope or away. Simply because they always start badly then end well.
