Tilley Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 Read your own fucking links you wankstain. !! I'd take a punt on Ellington, better than bloody Dickov.
Corky Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 He's scored goals before in this division, worth a go I think.
Alan Young Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 Seen him play a few times this season; he was largely inconspicuous and looked well off the pace and disinterested. Never ran the channels or chased any kind of causes. Looks very lazy to me. I personally don't think we should go anywhere near him.
Dames Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 If Nigel thinks he can get Ellington to deliver then he might be worth a punt for a season.
Jimmy Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 since leaving Wigan in 2005 he has only scored 22 league goals, Dickov has the same record as that and people don't want him here now either
Kilworthfox Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 since leaving Wigan in 2005 he has only scored 22 league goals, Dickov has the same record as that and people don't want him here now either Dickov is 36 Ellington is 27! Ellington has something to give to someone given motivation.
Jimmy Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 in the past 4 years he hasn't shown that, he'll be on big money as well, given the choice I'd take Dickov, at least you know he'll give you a committed performance

Jimmy Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 Commitment to running around like a headless chicken and getting booked within 2 minutes of being on the pitch. as apposed to Ellington, whose own club want rid and couldn't get in a Derby side which wasn't exactly scoring for fun
Alexikokopops Posted 27 May 2009 Posted 27 May 2009 as apposed to Ellington, whose own club want rid and couldn't get in a Derby side which wasn't exactly scoring for fun I never said Ellington was a better option than Dickov, just that Dickov's "commitment" isn't all its cracked up to be.
Jimmy Posted 28 May 2009 Posted 28 May 2009 I never said Ellington was a better option than Dickov, just that Dickov's "commitment" isn't all its cracked up to be. to be honest either way you're likely to be playing with 10 men, with Dickov literally with Ellington figuratively
craigadams22 Posted 29 May 2009 Posted 29 May 2009 Nathan Ellington, Um I think the Striker would be a good purchase for Leicester City FC. We need more competition up front & strength in midfield & at the back that mean's bringing in more defenders

edd Posted 30 May 2009 Author Posted 30 May 2009 are you sure about that!! how do we need more defenders? i would liek one or two more quality strickers a centre mid and a winger
Big Ol' Bob Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 I'd take Leroy Lita over Ellington any day of the week.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 I'd wank Leroy Lita over Ellington any day of the week. So would I.
Dub_Monkey Posted 30 May 2009 Posted 30 May 2009 i think Ellington could make a decent backup, would much prefer Lita though. both need someone to sort their attitudes out which maybe NP could do
