Fans who dont live in Leicester...

Recommended Posts

It's quite surprising how many Leicester fans I see living around my ends, and even more surprising how many of them have lived here all their life lol .

Well, as a person who lives in Leicester, it is only right that I remain a longtime supporter of Leicester City as my hometown team.

What im confused about is to why anyone who lives anywhere else would support Leicester City, so many other good teams out there and of course your hometeams, until a few months ago, Leicester had been doing really poorly for years.

Just a friendly question, nobody get their knife and fork ready to eat me...

Was born in the leicester royal infirmary. Which as im sure you know is bloody close to the Walkers, and Filbert street as the stadium was back then. Therefore it was only inevitable that i would support leicester. Now im living in Devon and before devon i lived in cambridgeshire. Cambridge united, Plymouth argyle/Exeter city and Leicester. Which would you support out of those :P

I love leicester and my family are supporters as well so yer had to be done. So glad im a foxes fan though i have been through it all since i was born, cup victories, europe, and league winners. The 90's were great and this year has been great :)

In the 80s we watched lot of UK football on TV. One team stood out for it's fighting spirit, and I must admit I wanted to be different from all Liverpool fans so I basically adopted Leicester City as my club. Part luck, part just liking "the foxes" name, and also the Gary Lineker-club played a role in my choosing. During the 90s I kept following with growing interest untill I started going to matches. Been over a few times to see Leicester City, on both Filbert and Walkers. ;) Tbh I've never regretted choice of a young Haraven - great team, great city!

My local Norwegian team is Rosenborg - since I am from that region, so you can say I have 2 teams - both of whom I try to stay updated as much as I can.

Nottinghamshire born and bred, but old man was at a training school in Markfield, bought some match tickets, and the rest is history.

Fell in love Worthington and Weller 74/ 75

Up the City!!!!

Having been originally from Leicester it was a natural choice...

Now I live in Wakefield, I certainly wouldn't choose any of the local teams.

Plus as an added bonus, I get to be smuggish to Leeds fans.

None of my family have ever come from Leicestershire but I couldn't feel closer to LCFC if I tried. My Dad took me to Filbert Street at such a young age that I can't really remember not wanting us to win every week more than anything.

I have 100% respect for everybody who doesn't live/born in Leicester and supports City. I have even greater respect for their parents/family members.

It's a shame that there weren't more people around like that in Leicester, most of the young generation support Manure, Liverpool and Arsenal

Born in Birstall, lived in various locations in God's county as well as Derbyshire and for the last 14 years here in Solihull (work reasons)

Went to first game in 1965 (can't remember it) with my older brother and Dad (his first game was 1946) but was obviously hooked and have supported ever since.

Could never follow another team, even if we weren't around and love my club dearly.

My only wish was that I worked with other Leicester fans and didn't have to listen to various part time gobshite West Midland moaning gits all bloomin' week.

Up the mighty foxes !!!!!!!!!!

Could well of been that mate. I should take more of an interest in it really, my granddad has passed away so i guess it makes it more important that i do find out about it!
