Fox92 Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 We will end up getting relegated even though many predict us to finish near the play-offs or even in them. Nigel Pearson will get sacked or will resign before the end of the season. We will not score against Swansea, Ipswich or Sheffield United and end up getting battered at both Portmand Road and Bramall Lane. People will start to 'boo' the side and then there will be 'arguments' on both this forum and the football forum on the radio.
Fox You Forest Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 . We will finish a respectable 10th . Levi will join Cheltenham at some point . flanimal will talk shit in the January transfer window . Tunchev will net a hat trick
demon_dog Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 Fryatt will be dropped in the second half of the season for his lack of goals. Yet again we will have a good defensive record, but few goals to our credit. Milan finally loses his patience and sells the club to Thracian. Thracian appoints DavieG and Raj as senior coaches, takes over as manager himself. Davie and Raj hailed as enlightened coaches by the manager, players and media, asked to coach England. Thracian takes us into the premiership with his youth policy. Thracian named manager of the month for March and April. :w00t: Asked to become England manager.
Big Blue Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 Afternoon all. Wednedayite here. Sorry to gatecrash, I just thought some of these predictions were interesting. I get the impression from this thread that the general consensus is... You expect to finish around midtable You rate your defence pretty highly But not too confident about scoring many And you don't rate Pearson Pearson was a superb leader as captain at Hillsborough and didn't he get you promoted? Is he actually not rated or is it some kinda running in joke? Wellens is one of the best creative/passing midfielders in the CCC, so I can see you creating a fair bit going forward to be honest. That N'Gessan kid looks like a handful too. My predictions then... You'll concede more than you think You'll score more than you think Wellens will be your player of the season
scinnell Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 Prediction 1: Sheff united to win the title. Prediction 2: Mandaric to get laid. Prediction 3: DJ to get sold and come back to the Walkers and get a Hat Trick.

Dames Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 I predict that we'll have an extremely organised and hard to penetrate defence but we'll have an impotent attack, mimicking the 07/08 season but without as many silly mistakes meaning we'll finish about 14-16th.
David Guiza Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Dickov to not score all season. Pretty obvious . We will finish 16th We will beat Boro on the day of the season to prevent them getting auto promotion
Flynny Posted 2 August 2009 Author Posted 2 August 2009 Tidyed and split. Frankly a couple of posts were deleted when they needed too much editing done for them to look right.
Zingari Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Fryatt to be hailed as the new Michael Owen Leicester storm the Championship I get hugely disappointed
ousefox Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 1. We will get to the playoff final and lose to Cardiff 2. Nigel Pearson will be sacked and replaced by Ian Dowie 3. We will unveil a statue of Chris Powell

leicesterseddon Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 The Birch will be wheeled out for another 'get behind the lads' speech before the Swansea game <_<

Jfox Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Best defensive record in the league Gradel has 10 or more assists by the end of the season Weale to keep at least 20 clean sheets
Jfox Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 We will do the double over four of the top six teams We will go on a six game winning run And We'll draw at lest 20 games
Wilson_6 Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Oh my god can't believe how many idiotic, pessimestic people there are in this forum. Are u actualy city fans. We won promotion well playing good football in a league where it's hard too. Ever heard of getting behind the club players and staff
Guest Bilo Posted 3 August 2009 Posted 3 August 2009 Oh my god can't believe how many idiotic, pessimestic people there are in this forum. Are u actualy city fans. We won promotion well playing good football in a league where it's hard too. Ever heard of getting behind the club players and staff I think there's more realism surrounding the predictions than idiocy and pessimism, the lack of a striker we know will be capable of scoring 20 odd goals a season at this level is a real concern. Though I can see where you're coming from in the second part of your post, the gulf between the CCC and League 1 isn't that big nowadays and teams that go through League 1 often do well in the Championship (see Swansea and Bristol City for details.) What we have to avoid is becoming a Scunny or a Forest and struggle all season.

Now I'm not saying comin should win champ but atleast be looking for midtable and every 1 is slagging off Howard and fryatt they were both influencial last season with goals and link up play and maybe going down a level and coming up again will give them the confidence and hunger they need keep the faith!!!
