JoeyB Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 I think tomorrows starting 11 will pretty much be the 11 that starts against Swansea. WealeMorrison Hobbs Tunchev BernerOakley King WellensGradel--------------------DyerHoward Is what i would like to see, but i don't think it will happen some how.

I Read That Pearson Wont Be Playing A 4-5-1 For Many/Any Games this Season, He Wants To Stick With His Usual 4-4-2.
Ozwin Posted 1 August 2009 Posted 1 August 2009 Not a fan of 4-5-1, means your wingers need to get forward at every oppertunity and be in the right place for flick ons and through balls etc. Requires your players to be on their game or it won't work. Tried and trusted 4-4-2 plz.
Guest Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Why isn't this in the actual thread? I'm thinking the same. The only thing I can think is that there is some kind of ego boost by having your name as the thread starter.

WealeMorrison Hobbs Tunchev BernerOakley King WellensGradel--------------------DyerHoward Is what i would like to see, but i don't think it will happen some how. Don't think playing Gradel and Dyer would work. I think it's almost certain Fryatt won't play today, so for the minute I'd prefer to see N'Guessen partner Howard up front as I think at the minute that's our best striking partnership for the Swansea game (yeah, scary I know ). Then I'd just stick Dyer on the left and have Oakley on the right, with Wellens and King in the middle. Can't argue with the defence though Leaving aside the possibility of more signings, I think the team we play today will be very similar to the one that starts against Swansea. Morrison should replace Neilson at right-back until his suspension finishes, because we don't have anyone else and Hobbs didn't look comfortable there last season. Mattock should come straight in at left-back if he's back from the U19s & able to play. Personally I can't see Fryatt being fit for the opening game, and although I think we will sign a striker before the transfer window closes, I can't see it happening before next Saturday - and with NP's preference for two up front, I can see Howard & N'Guessen being a likelihood.
MC Prussian Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Damn you, I wanted to ruffle feathers. I like featherless chicken. With a nice BBQ sauce, freshly-grilled. Enjoy today's game, Leese!
Stuliasz Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Does anyone know if they will be enforcing the 'no Leicester shirts' policy in the Weller lounge?

Milky Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Does anyone know if they will be enforcing the 'no Leicester shirts' policy in the Weller lounge? It's very relaxed in that lounge. You can wear what you want. It says "no away colours" on the tickets but you get away shirts all the time.
foxoffderby Posted 2 August 2009 Posted 2 August 2009 Went to Loughborough, Mansfield and Chesterfield but wont be going to this on principle. Spoke to a number of Derby fans yesterday before their game against Stoke. Season ticket holders were given free entry to this game as a goodwill gesture. What do we get 10% off in the club shop. Wow. The hirearchy at our club need to take good long look at the way other clubs looks after their fans. I think they missed a trick, this was an opportunity to give something back to the fans. People would also spend money in the club shop and on food and drink etc. Derby had 23,000+ yesterday. On a sperate note they played Stoke off the park apprently which is a little worring.
