Ill skip to the second half.

Decent performance, I know it wot happen but Adams deserves to start against swansea.

Sat close to Paulo Sousa(swans boss).. credit to him for staying until the end.

Wellens is a seriously good distributor of the football, great to watch.

Howard put in yet another decent 90 minutes.

Sat in the directors, was a nice experience.

I did'nt go today but i seen him against Shrewsbury and Mansfield and he really impressed me. Nothing over the top just sensible controlled play and a decent passer as well. I do still think we need another striker even if it's just as cover becuase you may as well play Campbell over Dickov <_< .

I was impressed with N'Guessan - I'd prefer him upfront over Campbell and Dickov, if it come to it, which it looks like it might.

Having said that Fryatt looked pretty good and pretty sharp when he came on, even more so after he'd score his goal, I do still have doubts over him in the Championship though.

Season hasn`t even started yet and ur doubting the guy, Give him a break! just fired us to promotion with his goals. I think ull find before Pearson came to our club Fryatt had no confidence and had been played out of postion. Confidence in Football is important and Fryatt showed when he had a manager who showed belief in his ability he can produce the goods. So give him a chance first, the team around him now is much better than the side we got relegated with, we have decent wingers with pace and now have a quality distributor of the ball in wellens which showed today.

The guy comes for around 20 mins and scores the winner, and almost scores another. What more can people ask from him considering those 20 or so minutes are all he's played in the whole summer?

Really?

I didn't think he did a solitary thing. Just my opinion though. Not having a go at you, just want to make that clear. :D

It was the first pre season game that I went to today, we looked decent I thought. Weale's catching is good same with distribution. Wellens looks good in the middle of the park. O'Neil looked pretty steady when he came on, Gradels crossing has improved alot since last season, Nicky Adams looked pretty sharp aswell. N'Gussen didnt look to happy to be comming off. 1-0 wasnt a bad result however it's quite worrying going into next week but then again if were keeping clean sheets we only need to score one goal to win.

No, I said I thought he looked good and pretty sharp, My doubts stem from his previous efforts in the Championship (1 off which he was injured for a big chunk off).

I ain't slagged him off today, once again as I said I thought he looked pretty sharp and pretty good, as you say considering this is his first action off the summer I was impressed.

Fair enough mate, Opinions! I have no problem with that! lol

And just because you have a different opinion, I'm not going to slag you off, throw abuse at you, e.t.c, unlike some people might :giggle:

Fryatt last 62 appearences, 5 goals. In 2 full seasons in the Championship.

Everyone will be having doubts about him with that record, even NP.

although that we won we created a load of chances we didnt put away i think we need a good striker with pace and who can finish walking home and the playing what sprung to mind is jackson from gills and leroy lita however lita is asking for to put wages so a nono to him.

Like i said judge the guy with the squad we have now when were half way through the season, if u remember when we first bought fryatt paired with hume he did do well for us, i don`t know the exact amount of goals he scored sure it was about 7-8 goals? But fair enough if he doesn`t do the buisness then perhaps u could say that he is a league one striker. I just Want to point out while on the subject of strikers were not exactly blessed in this department anyway, not like howard is gonna set the championship on fire either.

I'm up for that. If we score next week we should start it after it's played.

Weale looked pretty good. Considering this was Fryatt's first action, I'd say Fryatt was better, But if Fryatt was out and it was a choice of N'Guessan, DJ, or Dickov...No brainer - N'Guessan everytime.

People are well within their rights to judge him and have concerns. We're not talking about someone who has just signed, he has been here for years!!!

I haven`t got an issue with people judging him, but what are they judging him on? season hasn`t even started.
