Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 we are 1-0 up against West Brom at the Hawthorns in the last 10 seconds of injury time and Steve Howard is through on goal. Would you prefer he: a) turns round, locates Joe Mattock (even if he is on the bench) and storms towards him before belting the ball into his nads so hard that he's out for three seasons with a "groin injury"? b) runs clear and scores?
Fosse Boy Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Victory would be sweeter vengeance. He could always kick him in the 'nads afterwards?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 August 2009 Author Posted 11 August 2009 b - true pro Fair point. I can see the merits... I'm still going to have to say A. I'll take a 1-0. AFiE - Ah, but we're going to win anyway...
Corky Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 B) Score then do a Steve Walsh-style run towards their bench (if Mattock is on the bench) ala Arsenal and Ian Wright.
The Doctor Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 b then collects the ball from the net and does a
MPH Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 A. although i would prefer .. C: Handcuff Mattock to Bernie for a week
lildave3 Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 B but it's irrelevant. Mattock will have been sent off by then.
The Doctor Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 A.although i would prefer .. C: Handcuff Mattock to Bernie for a week handcuff mattock to the goal post and call in wayne brown more like.
Flynny Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 B but it's irrelevant. Mattock will have been sent off by then. Presumably you mean stretchered? But yeah, B. Just.
Budweiser Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 0-0 90 mins, WBA need a point to go up. Mattock own goal. Done.
lildave3 Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Presumably you mean stretchered? But yeah, B. Just. Nope, I mean he'll get torn a new one by Dany/Max and will perform a textbook Mattock clumsy foul or two.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Like Budweiser has just said, I would love it if we are 0-0 at the Hawthorns and Mattock scores and own goal! Then he walks off the pitch with the sound of "Leicester reject, Leicester reject". Please God let it happen.
Koke Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 0-0 90 mins, WBA need a point to go up. Mattock own goal.Done. Yes. I can co-sign this.
Daggers Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Mattock will not be starting for WBA, he will be away with England arranging his next transfer
fox123 Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 I would say B; goes onto score (the goal difference could be vital) then celebrates by picking the ball up and booting it, it then proceeds to accidentally (of course) smack Mattocks gonads rather hard!
CosbehFox Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Or alteratively he won't play as there's a reasonable left-back at WBA called Marek Cech.
Guest Bilo Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Or alteratively he won't play as there's a reasonable left-back at WBA called Marek Cech. Agree with that. Short of a vast improvement in his game over the next few months, the only thing Mattock will get from his move this season will be splinters in his arse.
lildave3 Posted 11 August 2009 Posted 11 August 2009 Or alteratively he won't play as there's a reasonable left-back at WBA called Marek Cech. Said on Sky Sports tonight that many expect him to leave soon...

Fox92 Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 B It would be ace if it was the last kick off the game at 0-0, we had a corner, Oakley swings it in and Mattock scores the best own-goal ever!
