Good win for Liverpool, didnt play well but did the job, another win against Blackburn on Saturday then things could look alot healthier especially with Chelsea playing Man City so Liverpool could go 5 points clear of them.

Reina was awesome yesterday, possibly the best keeper in the EPL this season. Daniel Agger was a rock yesterday aswell, wouldnt be surprised to see Aquilani start next weekend.

The guy who can't tell between a red beach ball and a white football :P?

Another fantastic first half from chelsea.

Played.

And "the best left back in the world" proving exactly that.

Agreed he had a good game, although this 'best in the world' opinion always makes me laugh, there's other leagues out there ya know.

Pleat you tit!

It's Benayoun NOT Benyanoun :banghead:

Even when his co-commentator says it right, in the very next sentence Pleat still gets it wrong.

Tosser!

His commentating provides me with many laughs. Star players including Patrick Evra, The AC Milan striker Ingazee, Pascal Shimbonsa and the famous Argentine CM Rick Elm as well as Czechoslovakia and the famous Spanish club Sevilia. I miss him on ITV :( He's just like your granddad who knows his stuff but not the player names.

At Least he gets his players right at Forest

Nice on Man City. Enjoyed that.

Really impressed with Man City and I think they have a terrific player in De Jong, he is quality. Tevez is enjoying his football too.

The title race has opened up again.

Man City's win also puts pressure on Liverpool in the race for 4th place.

Decent match that, and Man City were good for their win. Although not sure why Cech was popping off to the shops just as Tevez was about to take a free kick.

Cracking match at Goodison, really enjoyed that. Match changed when Saha and Yakubu came on, gave them much more up front. As for the penalty, I knew he'd miss it. Everytime there's a bit of time between it being given and it being taken it seems to be missed/saved!

I didn't realise ballack and fabregas played for the same national side, + Spain and germany have a equally bad history at penalty shootouts, eeerr nope. :D

Great match yesterday, really good game of football.

Don't think Everton deserved a point though to be honest. They didn't really show much ambition until they were 2-0 down. Granted they've got injury problems but they are not going to move anywhere as a club if they're going to be happy with a point at home against a similar side to them.

Tottenham however are starting to look like a really good side. I thought Lennon was class. His determination to run at defenders is exciting and his final ball is improving. He's my first choice for England at the moment.

Very suprised by Birmingham's run of form and it shows you can do well without scoring too many.

Said the same thing earlier.

With Wolves and Birmingham winning and Pompey, Bolton and Hull picking up draws, the bottom of the table will be just as interesting as the top.

Arsenal can make up some ground this weekend if they can do a job at Anfield, which will be easier said than done.

Think Birmingham's win affects the top of the table, or at least the middle, more than the bottom right now,. Not sure how long they can keep it up but they could easily finish 8th to 10th. Don't think they'll be in relegation trouble at all.
