Tommeh Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 Few points: Why is Rooneys dive completely accepted and ignored when Bellemy's is assesed all over and obviously the whole Eduardo thing? Rodallega is still a hero. Lescotts missed kick WHAT.A.GOAL. from Figueroa. Villa may have won on the pitch but the battle as ever was won in the pub beforehand. Fu ck off Soke. Die Stoke.
ramboacdc Posted 12 December 2009 Posted 12 December 2009 what was hansen on about? bellamys dive was obvious! he was saying it wasnt
Tommeh Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Whats the problem with Stoke? Everything. I've been there before in many threads.
Super_horns Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 WHAT.A.GOAL. from Figueroa.. Wasn't bad was it...just think of the coverage that effort would get if a top 4 player had scored the type of goal! Naturally Alan Hansen had to complain about the defensive set up for the shot (I did think blocking the ball at a free kick to stop it being played was a booking anyway) Just when you think a Chelsea or Man U will go on a run they mess up and well Spurs did their usual of balling a certain 3 points up.
Jimothy Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Thing is was it really a dive by Bellamy. OK he goes down without being touched, but he claims nothing. So we have to just assume he lost his feet and fell over running at speed. If players were booked everytime they fell over without being fouled they'd be numerous sending offs every week. It's not the falling over that makes it a dive it's the claim afterwards. Look at Rooney and Ngog the other week, fall down then immediately turn to the ref to claim a foul, and that's what makes it a dive, while if you watch Bellamy he just gets up like he's gonna get on with the game until he see the ref going to book him and then protests. And yes Bellamy would have accepted the free-kick if Clattenburg had given it, but any player would, still doesn't mean he went down with the intention of winning a free-kick. Clattenburg was too quick with the second yellow in my opinion and whatever Bellamy said to him to get booked in the first half clearly got to him, he was itching to send him off.
Tilley Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Fuck I hate that booking for taking your shirt off rule. Kaboul has just equalised in the 93rd minute for his club who are bottom, so what if he wants to take his shirt off and jump in to celebrate with the fans that have travelled from one end of the country to the other. Jesus Christ.
Darkzzz_ Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 I know it was last week but my god Gerrard dives no end.

Agree with you both, it seems odd to me could even classed as disrespectful to the club.
purpleronnie Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Boy Liverpool miss Alonso, they look half a team without him. I know gerrard must miss him. I need liverpool to get another goal to win a bet.
Tilley Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Quality result for Arsenal. Liverpool should have had them dead and buried by half time. It was a completely disciplined display by Arsenal in the second half, they rarely panicked. Brilliant finish by Arshavin, they are right back in the title mix.
The Doctor Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Why is Rooneys dive completely accepted and ignored when Bellemy's is assesed all over and obviously the whole Eduardo thing? because rooney was blatently diving while bellamy didn't . He was running at speed and was caught by the defender. Not a foul but when at speed a touch like that from the bolton defender can throw you off balance and when you're off balance you tend to fall over.
lildave3 Posted 13 December 2009 Posted 13 December 2009 Blimey, Liverpool are shit. Bit harsh for the first Arsenal goal but after that their heads went. Stunning strike from Arshavin to win it, absolute bullet.
samlcfc Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 Benitez guarantees top four spot pretty brave statement Its entirely possible but there are some strong teams that will run them pretty close
