AjcW Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 I only watched the last five minutes, do they deserve it? Not in the slightest
Ultra Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Scousers bossed the first 20 minutes. They've lost their way a bit since then though. Both Villa goals came from setpieces (quelle surprise..)
AjcW Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Anyone who hasn't got ESPN, watch this stream: http://www.veetle.com/viewChannel.php?cid=4a6f518d7dfacit's from HD it's unbelievable quality I have espn but that is amazing!
Ultra Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Liverpool 6 points off the top already.. Even this early in the season, that gap will take some pulling back.
MC Prussian Posted 24 August 2009 Author Posted 24 August 2009 Liverpool 6 points off the top already..Even this early in the season, that gap will take some pulling back. 6 points. Two games, two wins and the 'Pool are back on track. Nothing too complicated about that, especially at this point of the season.
Bert Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Villa were well worth the win. Liverpool rely too much on Torres and Gerrard. Lucas is complete shit, and is never ever going to replace Alonso, and I can't believe he was in the Brazil squad either. Torres moaned like a bitch all night, and Gerrard never really get going, probably due to how deep Villa's midfield was. Villa worked hard and played well on the counter.
lildave3 Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Well done Villa, quality win. Hopefully this will get the idiotic Villa fans off of MON's back.
C-man Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Villa fans on Facebook last Saturday were calling for MON's head. Now they're 'proud to be Villa'. Tossers. And Ultra, you do realise there are 35 games left this season?
Dave-Pundit Posted 24 August 2009 Posted 24 August 2009 Only a small proportion of Villa fans dislike O'Neill.
purpleronnie Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Only a small proportion of Villa fans dislike O'Neill. Gerrard Missing Alonso badly.

And Ultra, you do realise there are 35 games left this season? Yes, and Liverpool are already 6 points behind Chelsea. By the time Aquilani gets fit and adjusts to English football, Liverpool will be struggling to make the top four.
C-man Posted 26 August 2009 Posted 26 August 2009 Yes, and Liverpool are already 6 points behind Chelsea.By the time Aquilani gets fit and adjusts to English football, Liverpool will be struggling to make the top four. May as well relegate Everton, Portsmouth and Blackburn then 'cos they're 6 points behind Burnley.
Ultra Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 Except Chelsea aren't the type of team to concede a six-point lead to, even this early in the season.
whitlock Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Does anyone have a link for the Chelsea Burnley game?
Uncle Albert Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Except Chelsea aren't the type of team to concede a six-point lead to, even this early in the season. Aren't they? Are you forgetting that Chelsea lost 4 times to top four opposition last season? Yeah you must be. You are such an idiot it's unreal.
Darkzzz_ Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Looking forward to United V Arsenal. I fancy Arsenal in this one. A great day and night of football ahead.
StanSP Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Looking forward to United V Arsenal. I fancy Arsenal in this one. A great day and night of football ahead. Definitely. Milan derby. Start of La Liga Bayern Munich away at German Champions. Definitely goals in that match.
Darkzzz_ Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 I am all set, done all my tasks today. Lazy clothes on, beer in the fridge, laptop on, just awaiting the football now. I love these days.
StanSP Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Chelsea maintain unbeaten start to season. 3-0 vs Burnley.
lildave3 Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Chelsea maintain unbeaten start to season. 3-0 vs Burnley. Ok, it's only Burnley, but their start has been impressive.
StanSP Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Ok, it's only Burnley, but their start has been impressive. True. But Man Utd couldn't beat them. Chelsea are getting maximum points where they could easily have slip-ups.
lildave3 Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 True. But Man Utd couldn't beat them. Chelsea are getting maximum points where they could easily have slip-ups. Yeah, my point.
