They asked for a personal fans' view on some questions but they also wanted the consensus from the terraces so here's another question that I'm interested in. Ade Akinbiyi - Well, what can I say about him - Spent a record transfer fee of 5.5 million on him, but just could not score, missed numerous sitters, regarded as the worst premier league striker ever, and was so bad, that he had to practice scoring in open goals in training, let alone a goal with a keeper in! 2. Junior Lewis - Voted as LCFC'S worst player every year he was at the club - although impressing at lower levels, once brought up to the premier league by Peter Taylor, he was heavily exposed, and was ripped to shreds by the quality of the Prem 3. Zelijko Kalac - Couldn't catch a ball to save his life during his spell at LCFC. Although he now plays for AC Milan, and has a champions league winners medal, he was possibly the worst keeper we have ever had, and made numerous mistakes! 4. Frank Sinclair - I have lost count of the amount of own goals he scored for us, if it weren't for his own goals, maybe we would have won the prem, because he scored so many!, including 2 in the same match and possibly the worst own goal in LCFC history against 'boro from the half way line. As well as scoring numerous own goals, he was a terrible defender for LCFC, and whenever he touched the ball around his own penalty area, all fans worried he was going to do something stupid - which most of the time he did! 5. Dennis Wise - signed for 1.6 million, made just 19 appearances, never put in 1 good performance , constantly falling out with team mates, wrecking the team spirit, and most famously, punching Callum Davidson, which resulted in Wise being released, but then he went on and sued LCFC for around £3 million, and many people say that this is what got LCFC into administration. He will always be all Leicester fan's most hated player ever - and deservedly so - he's a thug with no footballing ability.

Ermm coz he was shite Signed him from Norwich in 2001 for quite a fair amount by our standards as I recall though I think we made money on him when we got rid but he was attrocious. (I thought so anyway!) I had high expectations of him and he didnt meet them by any stretch of the imagination

I dont remember him ever actually playing for us, he was permanently injured. Mybe being a little harsh putting him in worst 5 but you can't be good for us if you never played for us. Just checked wikipedia, he started 10 games for us in 2 years cos he was always injured. Oh and to the dogadug, i think Kalac got released by AC Milan this summer.

Ade Akinbiyi - for being utterly hopeless in front of goal and having wasted £5.5m on him in the first place... what the fook was Taylor thinking... Elvis Hammond - for being utterly crap for us. Denis Wise - cause he was shit, created team rifts, punched one of our players, sued us for no reason... the list could easily go on. Junior Lewis - another of Peter Taylor's amazing signings... not. Kevin Pressman - cause he moved like a slug around our goal... why we thought he'd be any good I don't know. --- I've only selected these players but to be fair, there are MANY more that could have been chosen alongside these names.

Lillehamring Posted 27 August 2009 Posted 27 August 2009 i don't remember lee marshall being that bad... he was very similar to andy king in many ways, he had a good touch and a bit of skill but was just too lightweight, also he played in a very badly assembled team. there are many players much worse that have been through the ranks... ...and i'm still surprised the elvis hammond hatred has grown to such insane proportions. and yes i expect to get slated for this, but i only remember what i remember...
