StanSP Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Been a good game, Tevez's flick was lovely. Can't wait to see it on MOTD.
StanSP Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Rooney :frusty: Full Time 3-1. Hope Villa do them in the final.
Simi Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Really harsh on Shay Given after making that incredible save. Typical United though, I felt it coming to be honest, they always manage it.
Tommeh Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Could be interesting in our lecture tomorrow. City-United fans. 1 each City fan hasn't missed a game in 6 years, including ALL European Aways! And the United dude scabbed someones ST as the went on holiday. Would love the proper manc to end him.
MC Prussian Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 What is it with Rooney at the moment? If he keeps this form up, he'll be unstoppable comes South Africa...
purpleronnie Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Great I had a fiver on 2-1. Thanks rooney.
Joe. Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Boyatta is so brilliantly erratic, I actually love him.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 City need to learn to play the full 90 at Old Trafford and not leave it to Shay for the final 5 minutes!
Simi Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Harsh that the City fans are being kept in while United fans stay in and celebrate!
purpleronnie Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 What is it with Rooney at the moment? If he keeps this form up, he'll be unstoppable comes South Africa... :p34r: He is playing for one of the best teams in europe who create more chances than pretty much anyone else, being the forward he should score a lot, just look at adebayor for arsenal last season, not technically very good but scored shitloads. I think rooneys a great player but put him against some of the top players in the world and the fact that england probably wont create that many chances I cant see the parallel. But lets hope he does carry it on.
JimmyK Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Unlucky for City, but you could see that winner coming a mile off. Still, means I'll definitely be rooting for Villa in the final. Wonder if anything will come of Bellamy being hit with that coin?

And Sky will search for it. Anyone else see the rumours that Fergie might ban Sky from training ground etc, simply because they kept showing on TV how Neville gave Tevez the finger
Matt Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 What is it with Rooney at the moment? If he keeps this form up, he'll be unstoppable comes South Africa... Don't worry he'll dry up just in time for South Africa...Bound to happen, Or perhaps he'll be the one to get an injury just before, because one of our key players is due to get injured just before the tournament. It's written in the script, always.

Anyone else see the rumours that Fergie might ban Sky from training ground etc, simply because they kept showing on TV how Neville gave Tevez the finger Doubt that will happen. He already doesn't talk to the BBC, I doubt the PR machine at United would want Sky to stop sucking them off.
StanSP Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Doubt that will happen. He already doesn't talk to the BBC, I doubt the PR machine at United would want Sky to stop sucking them off. Yeah that's the irony. Sky are paying United so much money, which makes it funny that Fergie wants them banned.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Wonder if anything will come of Bellamy being hit with that coin? United's first goal did - Barry took the corner instead and played a one two followed by a hit the front man cross. Shortly after this United went one up.
Edmund Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 It definitely changed the game. I think the Man City players were a little shell shocked and like the other matey said, they scored after the corner was taken badly from Barry which no doubt was caused due to fear of his own safety after Bellamy had objects thrown at him.
lildave3 Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Man City fans must love Old Trafford. Twice gone there this season, both times conceded a stoppage time goal to lose 4-3.
Edmund Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 I thought he passed it short. Yeah he did but he rushed the corner and fcuked it up. You can't blame him for rushing if your going to have missiles thrown at you.
lou Posted 27 January 2010 Posted 27 January 2010 Youre not seriously saying Man City lost this because of Bellamy having a coin thrown at him?! Its not that uncommon (moronic yes but not uncommon) and it doesnt make teams lose. They lost fair and square.
