maddog Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Watford have won their previous 2 Championship games and now find themselves level on points with us in the table, and by Saturdays game it will be 5 weeks since they lost in the Championship so they are in good form. It was a big shame last night that we didn't capitalise in the 2nd half after sides above us dropped points, and as it stands Newcastle are losing at Blackpool. Last time out at Vicarage Road we lost 1-0, but in that same season we all know what happened at the Walkers Stadium. Tom Cleverley is a danger man for them, bagging the winner last time out, and it would be disappointing to see the man we wanted to sign this season score against us. They also have former Carlisle hitman Danny Graham on their books who has adapted to the Championship very well, he and Cleverley have 7 Championship goals between them. So this looks to be a very tough game indeed. I think NP certainly needs to make a few changes for this one, Tunchev will surely come in for Brown, Gallagher certainly needs to get off the wing, for either Adams or Dyer or Gradel and i would certainly like to see Waghorn or Kermogrant given a start. But sadly i can't see NP changing it too much, and i think we will lose this game 2-0, Cleverley will get an assist and Graham will bag another :locked:
lcfcrinaldi Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Im going for a draw and a fairly average run of results from now on, unfortunately.
Raj Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Tis only bastard Wednesday for fcuk sake maddog you crazy bitch!!!!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 I'm going to go for a 1-0 City win. Just fancy us winning this. Hopefully with Tunchev playing we will be more solid at the back the against Posh and I'd like to see King starting too. I'm worried about the lack of goals, but 1-0 would be nice. Cleverley play on the right or in the middle for Watford? Think we should play King just to help stop Cleverley from playing be the real threat from midfield.
Asha Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 1-1 Draw. Don Cowie first half for them. Berner for us.
maddog Posted 16 September 2009 Author Posted 16 September 2009 Tis only bastard Wednesday for fcuk sake maddog you crazy bitch!!!! Tis less than 3 days until the game! I used to start these a whole fcuking week before the game!!!!!
Raj Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Tis less than 3 days until the game!I used to start these a whole fcuking week before the game!!!!! Good olde maddog!!!
Raj Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Barnsley,Stoke,MKDons,Hereford,Crewe have been my last few away trips and the common factor is we aint lost any(although Stoke was worse than a loss!) Hence i'm going for a drab 0-0 draw!!!
MC Prussian Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Cheapskates. Cleverley to score, but I don't care. 2-1 win for us.
Sods Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 First away game in a Saturday ive seen this season, love them. Last time we played them was probably one of the worst nights ever.
Bert Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 Loss I think so too. Although after remembering your amazing stat last night, we have hope!
Simi Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 First away game in a Saturday ive seen this season, love them.Last time we played them was probably one of the worst nights ever. Same, my first game on a Saturday since Crewe, now I'm not doing homes. Can see this being a tough test for us, Watford have had a fairly good start and after what seemed to be a poor performance on Tuesday, it could be a tough day for us. Saying that I'll go for 1-1.
Aixelsyd Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 a Win 2-1 an early Fryatt goal with them equalising just after the break a heartbreaking O.G. in injury time for the 3 points
Simo86 Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 I can see this being a 1-1 draw. Cleverley for them and Tunchev for us to mark his return to the starting XI
Jiggers the Fox Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 2-0 leicester fryatt brace and gallgher to get off the mark
Dr The Singh Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 I would be happy with a point, the result isn't as important to me as the performance.
dogadug Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 I would be happy with a point, the result isn't as important to me as the performance. The result is more important than the performance for me I'd far rather Leicester played terrible, but picked up 3 points, than play brilliant, but get 1 or no points.

Normally I would agree, but some disturbing periods within the games against Blackpool and Peterborough concerns me, and wouldn't want it to continue and have a lasting effect on the season!! A good solid 90 minutes is what I would like!!

Yes same here, but I wouldn't sacrifice a win for a good performance Everyone here would love it if Leicester could win, and put in a good performance, but with Leicester, things aren't usually that simple
