Finnegan Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Don't watch much footy outside the premiership then? Gareth Bale, mun.
phillcfc Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Roger Federer. Great player, brilliant to watch, but his pseudo-humility annoys the hell out of me. The way he tried to be modest when he won Wimbledon this year was painful to watch, particularly as it was Roddick, who is possibly my favourite sportsman right now.
James. Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Don't watch much footy outside the premiership then? Yeah Milktray, you philistine. Have you never heard of Randy "Hot Dawg" Carter, acclaimed left back for Philadelphia Soccer All Stars, voted MVP for 7 seasons in a row?

You should try listening to a Venus Williams acceptance speech sometime!
Fox92 Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Really, I don't 'hate' any footballer (I know it's sportsman but I don't watch anything other than football so here goes). I dislike Gareth McAuley, Joe Mattock, Richard Stearman, Iain Hume, Dennis Wise, Alan Shearer and Mark Bunn.

What have you got against him? Just seems an odd choice like
Sir Fynwy Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 What have you got against him? Just seems an odd choice like Bunn pissed me off with his badge kissing at SU as well, thought he was OK for us but now think he's got no class.
Guest Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Bunn pissed me off with his badge kissing at SU as well, thought he was OK for us but now think he's got no class. Ah didn't see the badge kissing from where I was stood. Saw that there was a bit of banter between him and the crowd but thought it was all good natured. Understandable now, that is quite annoying
lildave3 Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Best left back in the world? Andre Santos. Also, you lot have too much hatred.
StanSP Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Best left back in the world? Andre Santos. Also, you lot have too much hatred. Make a 'sportsmen/women you love' thread then
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Andy Murray, can't stand him, Scottish twat
lildave3 Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Make a 'sportsmen/women you love' thread then No, it'd take too long.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Crouch for some reason. I like him for the following. 'What would you be if you weren't a Premiership footballer?' 'A virgin.' At least he's aware.........
Finnegan Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 I like him for the following.'What would you be if you weren't a Premiership footballer?' 'A virgin.' At least he's aware......... absolutely. If there was a "Sportsmen you love" thread then Unabomber's sig would probably be in my top three. What a legend.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 absolutely. If there was a "Sportsmen you love" thread then Unabomber's sig would probably be in my top three. What a legend. Damned straight. I would literally jizz if Bullard ever played for us. The man's a comic hero.
AmericanScott Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Yeah Milktray, you philistine. Have you never heard of Randy "Hot Dawg" Carter, acclaimed left back for Philadelphia Soccer All Stars, voted MVP for 7 seasons in a row? You sound like such a dick.
James. Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 You sound like such a dick. Fancy doing the charity run? Link in my signature.
Budweiser Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville, Nani, Lescott, Ballack, A Cole, Cech. Basically the top 4. Dislike Murray & Broad. All this shit about him being the new Freddy! No chance.
Fox92 Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 What have you got against him? Just seems an odd choice like See below; Bunn pissed me off with his badge kissing at SU as well, thought he was OK for us but now think he's got no class. Agreed and when he returns we all need to give him one hell of a roasting the nob. We didn't boo him or do anything and when they scored he did that... I hate the big headed, div. Ah didn't see the badge kissing from where I was stood. Saw that there was a bit of banter between him and the crowd but thought it was all good natured. Understandable now, that is quite annoying Not only did he do that, but he did a little dance when they played bleedin' Tom Hark if anyone saw that...
Fox92 Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville, Nani, Lescott, Ballack, A Cole, Cech. Agree with the ones in bold, I can't stand Lescott, Ferdinand and Nani. Also add to my list; Phil Brown, Sam Allardyce the whole of Blackburn Rovers and the whole of Sheffield Wednesday. Can't stand that Akpo Sodje because my mate who supports Wednesday says he is the 'best striker in the league' plus he stood on Mattock's back when we played them although alot on here would fancy that now I bet...
lou Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 most of them mentioned on this thread are good shouts! Gary Neville tops it for me though....... I cant bear to look at the fugly, arrogant, bad mannered little shit! Remember him at a game at the WS (prob the last time we played them) literally screaming into one of our ball-boys faces coz he didnt give him the ball quick enough.... little lad looked about ten years old ffs! I detest Neville with every fibre of my being. Lee Bowyer, Joey Barton and Lee Hughes also I cant stand and dont deserve to be paid for playing football.
Fosse Boy Posted 17 September 2009 Posted 17 September 2009 Almost every modern, overpaid footballer who acts like they're the star of MTV's 'My Super Sweet Sixteen' pisses me off. Cashley, Drogba and most of the Chelsea squad especially (probably just down to the fact I've never liked Chelsea more than anything else). I pretty much despise all the inept, jurassic 'Old School Tie and Crest' types who unfathomably manage to make themselves governers of most sporting bodies throughout the world. Anyone who cheats on the field of play in any sport whether amatuer or professional is not worthy of my respect either.
