I went and stood on the very back row,everyone seemed to follow afterwards.Celebrations were abit special And a note for the Boro stewards , I dont think I've seen a worse bunch sinces Huddersfield away last season. Hitlers! Wasnt you that fell over the seats in front of you into our row, losing your phone was it?

Katy Posted 30 September 2009 Posted 30 September 2009 yeah me and my friend were the only females stood on the front of those few standing rows singing our hearts out He was ridiculous, the two stewards on the stairs to the right of our group werent too bad and shared a few jokes with us. Common sense really does need to prevail at times I wish the ones near us had been like that. How I stood on row 6 throughout I'll never know.Jamie was almost kicked out after 5 minutes and he and C-Man were filmed through the game. Complete Joke of a club. Yeah, he text me about that. We were observing what was going on from where we were and it was amusing to see Jamie, eventually sliding down his seat to sit down only to shoot back up again when the steward had gone. Hilarious.

We were poor going forward, but that's been glossed over on here a bit because we won. It was about time we won away so the performance was very much secondary. I would be disappointed if we attacked as poorly again on Saturday though. It was just one of those nights a long way from home that called for some desperate defending and heroic goalkeeping to get a backs-to-the-wall 1-0, which sometimes is equally as satisfying in its own way as a comprehensive victory.

lcfc_jme Posted 1 October 2009 Posted 1 October 2009 Hardly a tremendous performance, probably would have lost it by a big scoreline on another day, but none of that matters. We're 3 points better off, that's the main thing; we've lost games like that in the past, so it's only fair we get our slice of the luck. After the past week and a half I've had, the manner in which we defended and grabbed that late goal was fu cking superb, I couldn't have asked for a better pick-me-up. It certainly took my mind off things and gave me a welcome break, that's for sure. The less said about the stewarding inside the ground the better, in my opinion. They were, for all intents and purposes, little Nazis hell-bent on eradicating any fun before it even got a chance to break out. From as early as 5 minutes, I was asked in an aggressive manner to sit down, had all of my questions ignored and placed under CCTV surveilance. That's not to tar all of the stewards there with the same brush, the lass that came up after Hitler and his right-hand man had fu cked off was actually pretty decent and shared some good banter, and even enjoyed it when we scored. Very, very painful legs after the celebrations for Lloyds goal, though. I'm seriously struggling to walk properly today, not good. Another ground I will never be returning to though, shit ground in a shit area of a shit city with shit fans and Robert Mugabe-type stewards.
