StanSP Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Some good last-minute equalisers!! FA Cup drama! It's what it's all about
Matt Posted 12 January 2010 Author Posted 12 January 2010 Bastard nearly another OG from Covscum in the last second of added time during the 90 minutes.
syston_fox Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Does that mean our 4th round game is postponed with the replay next week or will it still go ahead? No idea if they will be able to agree a price and sort out everything in the space of a few days

No idea if they will be able to agree a price and sort out everything in the space of a few days Oh fook, just realised Bristol City/Cardiff City was the first game, i.e - It goes for a replay, I had it in my head this was the replay. fook em', In situations like this with so many games being cancelled, and alot of fixture congestion they should be forced to go into extra time/penalties if its a draw, other games need to be played. I thought Alex Ferguson found a rule a few years ago saying if both teams agreed it could go to extra time/penalties after the first game? This should be made mandatory in the result of so much fixture congestion and games being postponed - If they played this game on the Saturday everyone else did fair enough go for a replay but that was postponed, they should have had the replay today but this was the first game and now everyone has to wait even longer to move on now. FUK EM'.
C-man Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Looks like our 4th Round tie will be on a Tuesday. Most probably against Cardiff...

FUK EM'. That can be done in the first few rounds for lower league clubs. Think it has to be decided about a week before the match though. And its extra time only, not penalties if I remember correctly. If its still a draw after extra time it has to be replayed. What happens though now for us? We will play the winner on the following Saturday!?
Matt Posted 12 January 2010 Author Posted 12 January 2010 Looks like our 4th Round tie will be on a Tuesday. Most probably against Cardiff... I fuking hate them sheepshaggers. First they postpone our league game against them, Then their first F.A Cup 3rd round is postponed (Not their fault, Bristols fault), Then they can't hold onto the lead which puts out F.A Cup match behind schedule, aswell as still waiting to rearrange the league fixture.

I still say under certain circumstances, i.e what's going on at the moment with postponed games all over the shop, fixture congestion, games needing to be played, competitions needing to progress, they should be forced to get a result on the night.
syston_fox Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 If 4th round game is off we could play our league game with Cardiff in the gap....
Leicester Rule! Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 If 4th round game is off we could play our league game with Cardiff in the gap.... Thats a too sensible suggestion for the FA to think about!!!!! Ok fair enough. Ye, totally agree with your point!
Ford Super Sunday Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Our 4th round tie will be ON the 23rd (provisionally) with the replay between Brizzle and Cardiff on the 18th (BBC website)
StanSP Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Looks like our 4th Round tie will be on a Tuesday. Most probably against Cardiff... Might be on TV/online then should anyone not be able to make it to the game
Bert Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 If 4th round game is off we could play our league game with Cardiff in the gap.... Would Cardiff not be playing that day though? Excuse my stupidity, but if they play the replay next Tuesday, could we not play the 4th round on the Saturday?
