Corky Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 GARY LINEKER: I cried all the way home after Leicester City lost in the final. Managers have to start caring about the FA CupRead more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...l#ixzz0bdEEauJX He's right. This is a great competition, providing memories of a lifetime. It deserves better.

StanSP Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 4 games on TV for next round - not bad . Man Utd aren't on
Ford Super Sunday Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 While we're on the subject of ITV (can't complain about their choices, commercially motivated, and probably correct considering the shit draw all round) can I just make this one complaint. ITV gets slated a lot for its coverage of the FA Cup, mainly because it has and always will be compared to the BBC, and the way it treated the competition. But the one thing ITV got spot on last season was the opening sequence Brilliant, i'm sure you'll agree. So imagine my horror when I settle down and see this pop up on my screen for the FA Cup opening. ITV... you complete fvck ups, the ONE THING you do right and you mess it up... I give up, I really do.
C-man Posted 4 January 2010 Posted 4 January 2010 I think the intro is shit too but it's hardly something to despair upon.

Quite liked the first one, the current is so very ... meh One question though, after seeing the footage from wembley.... how did you people ever let them knock it down?? I loved it when i visited last year, a great stadium indeed... but seriously, i remember it from back in the day and wembley was...... EVERYTHING it was our home, it was english football. sigh
Brainy Posted 5 January 2010 Posted 5 January 2010 I threw my fist through the tele when I saw that, it's that bad.

This football blog on the FA Cup has some pretty harsh words to say about the competition's appeal and looking at the attendances, there is an argument to say that fans are rapidly losing interest in it. Thoughts?
Floating Fox Posted 5 January 2010 Posted 5 January 2010 The FA Cup is still my favourite competition. Will always be as well.

Edmund Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Or if anybody fancies finding out who we'll be playing, you could watch Bristol/Cardiff on S4C in Welsh Haha, will probably opt for that one instead. Thanks dave3.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Bristol-Cardiff is also being streamed on the FA's website and most betting sites as it was going to be first time round.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Maybe tonight could be the downfall of Forests season? Losing away? Mess their season up plz.
Matt Posted 12 January 2010 Author Posted 12 January 2010 I'm actually abit embaressed for Coventry, and I fuckin' hate em'. Anyone watching the game on iTV4? I am, supporting Portsmouth, but i'm embaressed for them, look at the empty seats, pathetic. I've seen more fans down Nuneaton Borough and Hinckley United - I'm sure of it, and i'm not joking.
Ashley Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Does anybody know what channel S4C is on virgin? thanks.

It's the FA Cup. We had 12,000 against Swansea. Splendid goal by Leon Best.
Fox You Forest Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Cracking goal from Best, came from nowhere.
