And it said it all when the commentator said 'Ferguson threw everything at it, bringing on the big guns.' One has to ask why the big guns weren't on in the first place. I have no sympathy for a team that doesn't field a full strength team and then gets knocked out. Manchester were rubbish, Leeds were excellent.... Kisnorbo should have been MOTM though

MC Prussian Posted 3 January 2010 Posted 3 January 2010 The majority of Manchester United players look past it - the former stars aging or fading away, Rooney too often left alone, Owen or Giggs never got into the game, no drive in midfield since the departure of Ronaldo (Valencia looked one of their better players today), defense looks tacky without Ferdinand. To me, Ferguson's sovereign reign at ManU is slowly coming to an end - the club can't cope with several simultaneous competitions no more, they're best off in the league.

Kisnorbo was our best player for a few seasons when we were really struggling in the Championship. Then last season he struggled with injuries and fell out of favour with Pearson, probably something to do with his piss poor distribution. Although Wayne Brown is exactly a master of the passing game
