Leicester Rule! Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Would Cardiff not be playing that day though?Excuse my stupidity, but if they play the replay next Tuesday, could we not play the 4th round on the Saturday? Police etc.
syston_fox Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Would Cardiff not be playing that day though?Excuse my stupidity, but if they play the replay next Tuesday, could we not play the 4th round on the Saturday? Cardiff wouldnt be playing because it's 4th round day and potentially playing us... And Im just not sure on turnaround of organising things. If the games on Tuesday then they have to agree a price, get the tickets to us, sort out stewards etc for working the ground and sort out policing etc for the game.... Ive no idea how long all that stuff takes so just wondering if it will be able to sort it all in the space of a few days.
C-man Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 I fuking hate them sheepshaggers.First they postpone our league game against them, Then their first F.A Cup 3rd round is postponed (Not their fault, Bristols fault), Then they can't hold onto the lead which puts out F.A Cup match behind schedule, aswell as still waiting to rearrange the league fixture. Or maybe it was the weather? Did you not see the state of Bristol City's pitch tonight. I may have declared it unplayable if I was a noncey referee. Here's an possibly sensible idea: I'm assuming they won't be able to organize tickets etc for the Cup game to be played on the weekend of the 4th round, so why don't they arrange for a Cardiff vs Leicester game on the 23rd January. If they lose the replay then we play the league game; if they win the replay we play the cup tie. That works does it not?
StanSP Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 I'm sure that the clubs involved, Bristol City and Cardiff, would have thought about the consequences should tonight's result be a draw, which of course it was. So I doubt they would be panicking as to what they could do to make sure it goes ahead. There's probably been plans for quite a while now. If not, then it's a farce as they have had long enough to arrange something!
Matt Posted 12 January 2010 Author Posted 12 January 2010 Is there a F.A cup highlights show on tonight? Just looked, Not tonight. Not sure about tomorrow night, During or after the Liverpool v Reading match perhaps?
Ford Super Sunday Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Just looked, Not tonight. Not sure about tomorrow night, During or after the Liverpool v Reading match perhaps? ITV will be doing the highlights online and in their live shows. Because they took on an extra game and extra replay match with the Setanta collapse, they have dropped replay highlights shows
Matt Posted 12 January 2010 Author Posted 12 January 2010 Westwood's gonna take Cov through. Stephen Wright's OG equaliser is gonna help Pompey on their way to going through.
StanSP Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Westwood's gonna take Cov through. Stephen Wright's OG equaliser is gonna help Pompey on their way to going through. Mokoena scores on 30mins and 30secs, just as commentator was saying how the ref doesn't have to add time on
Matt Posted 12 January 2010 Author Posted 12 January 2010 YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! And guess what? In added time in extra time, I didn't know but the commentator said you don't need to give added time during extra time! hahaha. GET IN'. Fuck Off Covscum.
Daggers Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 "Look at all those light blue shirts" Fuck off. I'm too busy looking at all of those light blue seats. Brilliant result - tara Cov!
Podge Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Epic from Pompey, two late goal one the captains OG another in unneeded injury time.
Unabomber Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 hahahahahahahahah the cruelest possible way to go out. Priceless.
StanSP Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Derby 5-3 Millwall it ended. On penalties that is.
Mikey Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Derby 5-3 Millwall it ended. On penalties that is. Only bad thing to happen in tonights games. <_<
Ultra Posted 13 January 2010 Posted 13 January 2010 Not a bad evening's work. Cov and Forest both out, though Derby just scraped through. But as Meatloaf once said, two outta three ain't bad..
dandannieldanok Posted 13 January 2010 Posted 13 January 2010 Pompey and Cov were absolutely dire all night, Mokoena's winner was great though.
