Koke Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 I suspect the same eleven that started at QPR will start again this afternoon. We can do this.
Nick Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 I suspect the same eleven that started at QPR will start again this afternoon. We can do this. Daring to dream? I'll be ecstatic with a draw against Brom...... but if I allow myself to dream of the form showed on our last display....... No Reality check, sorry: Leic City 1 West Brom 2
morris1234 Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 same as qpr, you stand there and just realise they are a good team or you get on with it and work your arse off to show them your game! carn the citeh!
MC Prussian Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 Regardless of the outcome, I somehow have the feeling this will be another game where we can all be thoroughly proud of the team. Although it'd be nice to sneak another win QPR-style and our right side to cancel Joe Mattock out especially. Gimme such a performance and I'll be one happy monkey. Dancing on the ceiling and the like.
Jon the Hat Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 We have no reason to be any more worried about WBA than about QPR or Newcastle or Middlesborough. If we play our game how we want to play it we will win.
Fox You Forest Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 Quiet looking forward to the game today, usually when that's the case they end up being dull affairs.
marbelladave Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 So looking forward to this! I am really hoping that we bring our confident, assertive style to the game today. If we do and play well I will be happy with almost any result. What I do not want to see is a return to the pedestrian, disjointed play that has been all to common this season, given that we are playing at home and that WBA must be at least a little concerned about us a performance of QPR standard is the minimum I am hoping for. OK that's it, bit of breakfast and I'm hitting the M1. BTW. For those of you who are amused by such things I shall be making the 100 mile (each way) journey to the Walkers in a Chevrolet! Sadly not a Corvette or even a Camaro but a quite ridiculous piece of automotive engineering called a Kalos. A nasty 4 door Fiesta size hatch with an engine the size of my left thumb and the driving characteristics of an orange box on wheels. Courtesy car my arse! Still, better get started.
Legend_in_blue Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 Why do I sense a denial from the people? We will win this game. They come at us, we will win. And they will come at us.
Karljohn Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 We can win today, it will be a tough test but with this league no team is exempt from having a demolition job done on them from time to time, there is not enough class in this division for 2-3 teams to run away with it, we could even destroy this lot today if they are the first team to show any sign of adventure at the Walkers this season. One Bruno Berner, there's only one Bruno Berner.
dandannieldanok Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 Why do I sense a denial from the people? We will win this game. They come at us, we will win. And they will come at us. Not necessarily, they've played 4-5-1 quite a few times this season.
Captain... Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 Swansea are currently 2-0 up against Cardiff, if Cardiff lose we will go second if we beat the Baggies.
dypatel06 Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 Swansea are currently 2-0 up against Cardiff, if Cardiff lose we will go second if we beat the Baggies. Spoke too soon. 2-2 Now!
Wycombe Fox Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 3-0 win to City. I've just seen it in my tea leaves.
Captain... Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 Spoke too soon. 2-2 Now! A draw will still see us over take them. Come on Swansea. (If Cardiff take the lead straight after I say this I'm keeping quiet)
AjcW Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 UNCHANGED: City: Weale; Neilson, Hobbs, Brown, Berner, Oakley, A King, Wellens, N'Guessan, Fryatt, Waghorn. Subs: Logan, McGivern, Morrison, Howard, Kermorgant,Campbell, Gallagher.

Far Post Gerry Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 I'm an eternal pessimist (something to do with being a City fan, no doubt), so I'll punt for a 1-1 draw. Prove me wrong again boys!

Subs: Logan, McGivern, Morrison, Howard, Kermorgant,Campbell, Gallagher. Happy to see the same line-up but why drop Dyer from the bench for Campbell, do we really need 4 strikers on the bench, surely an out and out winger would be preferable and give NP more options. (although anyone who loves the club is preferable to Dudley)

Jonezy Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 KOM SÅ LEICESTER!!! Top of the table clash, in the Championship at the Walkers... WTF...?!!! Make us proud lads!

(although anyone who loves the club is preferable to Dudley) Agree with that, though I would keep DJ on the bench with Dyer, and sacrifice either Howard or Kermo. Need a bit man who can get in behind the back four.
MC Prussian Posted 7 November 2009 Posted 7 November 2009 Someone have a live stream link? My regular sources, iraqgoals and bet365 don't have it on.
