mickydeeeuk Posted 21 December 2009 Posted 21 December 2009 who says were skint? how have we gone from being in a position of mandaric saying if we are there or there abouts we'll have available funds come jan, to not being able to buy anyone! we might quite rightly need to offload some dead wood,but thats true of any business! .......one minute theres 50 odd pages on here saying we are going to pay edgar davids £20k + p/w to play for us and now we cant afford anybody!!! if mandaric honestly thinks we've a chance of promotion he will obviously realise spending a bit on quality and not selling the best players is worth the gamble of perhaps getting back to the prem which is surely the aim!
