Guest Bilo Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 No, Bilo would be outraged by the 'gyppo' chants. I regularly indulge in a few gyppo chants thank you. Abusing that raffle ticket seller was the highlight of Peterborough away last season. Really.
Samilktray Posted 22 December 2009 Posted 22 December 2009 Xanthos or something, have snapped up Nathan Ellington on loan. Dissapointed to say the least.

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 23 December 2009 Posted 23 December 2009 Who the **** is he? It's Jesus How much do thy cost? well reading that briings a picure of crouch into my head, how much does he cost? 10 million? 11 million? cant see mandy signing him. No more than half a million. He plays very well for the national team being a very mobile target man for Kewell and Cahill. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joshua_Kennedy Just realised we share the same birthday..........this is my new claim to fame

Just what we need, another powerful, mobile center forward we can play on the wing...... >_< Seriously for a moment, what we really need is an offensive coach. No not JFK but someone who can work alongside our current staff and bring some much needed pace and creativity to our forward play. Many posts have suggested that we need a creative midfielder but even if we were able to acquire someone pretty decent I can not see how that would help as 9 out of 10 balls are pinged straight over his head to our front men! I remain convinced that we have the players we need to play decent attacking football if only we stopped the hoofball and played the passing game that we have, on occasion, shown ourselves capable of. One last thing, we need to do this pretty damn soon before a few more poor results sap our confidence and leave us unable to play at all.
marbelladave Posted 23 December 2009 Posted 23 December 2009 Socceroofox My best mate (non footballing) is in Melbourne for a month over Christmas and new year visiting his soon to be in laws. He keeps winding us up with tales of the excellent weather, going sailing etc while we are virtually snowed in. Tell me it's not true, please..........

lcfcmad2005 Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 we should get Kevin Phillips in= hes not playing first team football and would score loads of goals Billy Sharp= Sheff.Utd dont want him and hes banging loads of goals for doncaster on loan and George Boyd= is playing awesome and scoring loads of goals and I think he would jump at the chance to join Leicester and wot about Jack Wiltshire and Kerrea Gilbert on loan from Arsenal and bring back Max Gradel hes a much better player than Lloyd Dyer
ob1kanobe0 Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 We need attacking flair, whether it be from centre mid, the wing or upfront.
Father Ted Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 Kerrea Gilbert and hopefully, Tom Parkes and Cian Bolger will be able to step-up and play centre-half if needed.
bigneville Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 I think its clear from what has happened over the last few days, that we need another couple of bodies in the defensive area. It seems like Tunchev will be out for a fair while longer, and any other injuries like current has put us into a little bit of a crisis in defence. So a defensive loanee for sure, and maybe another experienced centre back like Brown, but with a bit more pace. Don't see any other real weaknesses currently, so i'd think it would be sell before replace in the midfield forward area, and i'm quite happy with that. I'd expect to see the back of Dickov & Campbell, possibly both on loan to Derby, therefore meaning we wouldnt see Dickov again, as contract is up at the end of the season I believe. Maybe Gradel making his move permanent to Leeds is on the cards as well, could we try and tempt Beckford down here with Gradel as bait?
Ozwin Posted 27 December 2009 Posted 27 December 2009 I keep hearing that Strachan wants Dickov so I reckon he's going. I reckon we're stuck with DJ though, has he done anything at Derby of note yet?
